Likes
- The infracture is well developed and we have student lounge as well as cafeteria where we can enjoy our free time or work for the assignments
- In the campus you feel like you are not in india, every property is cleaned everyday even the pathways are cleaned eevryday.
- Everything works in laptop in AU and you need to have a laptop with you everyday even if you are pursuing major in BBA or in psychology.
- Campus is 24/7 open for students hence students can enter in college at 3AM too. Dont forget the ID card as entering in college premises is impossibe without ID card even at 10 in the morning.
- There are 2 libraries out of which 1 is 24/7 and there are wide range of books avaliable of all genre.
Dislikes
- The timings of the college is too much, sometimes we do need to stay in the college for 12 hours for lectures.
- Everthing works in group, so sometimes if you get the wrong people in the group then also your grades might get affect.
Remarks :
For the B-tech admissions, there are 2 ways , ACPC and JEE. Admissions are not offered in any other way. The college having a great campus life as well as the great faculties, IIT passouts, made me choose this college. AU has great placement oppurtunities as well as the seniors help us the most. The cut off of ACPC usually goes to 2.5k rank and for JEE you need more than 90 percentile. Sometimes AU become hectic as we might have to stay for a long period in college for the lectures and submission, but except that I would say this is one of the best college to study your undergraduate course with campus life.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have a great interest in maths and problem solving and that is the reason I choose the course Computer Science Engineering in AU. The faculties here are very supportive and most of them are IIT graduates, they encourges us to ask as many doubts so that we can clear our concepts and understand properly, their teaching method is very well planned and we literally understand what they want us to understand. The exams are such like we have quizzes, mid terms and end term. In some subjects we do have open book test but with open book it comes the more difficulty level else in closed book examination the difficulty level is pretty easy.
Internships Opportunities :
There are few in-campus oppurtunites by which you can earn stipend such as being a TA(teaching assistant) or Work study program by which you need to lead the open house and help in the office of financial aid. After that few internship oppurtunities are there but internships are only offered in 4th year else you need to find outside the univeristy.
Placement Experience :
Placement are really great in the university with the average placement of 10 lacs that is of last year. There is no such eligibility criteria as any 4th year student can sit in the placement cell. Few companies such as google, flipcart visits AU every year. And around 100-120 offeres are made out of 150 students.The highest package went up to 46 lacs last year per year. This year till now as the placements are still going, the highest offer was made of 20 lacs and there are few students who accepted the 12 lacs per annum package. Every year around 70%. I also might go for the campus placements and if no placement is offered than there are options for the placements outside the university.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I am in 2nd year and I paid 320000/- last year(2023) and in current year I am paying 350000/-, lab fees cource material fees, everything is included in the tuition fees itself, transportation is NOT included. For all categories the fees is almost same, and AU offers few scholarship such as merit based if you scored above 3.5/4.0 gpa in the 1st year you are awarded with a certain amount of fee waiver. Few scholarship like MYSY is also applicable in AU. Every year there is around 5-10% increase in fees. The total cost of 4 years B-tech comes to approx 14 lacs.
Campus Life :
In Ahmedabad I would say AU has the best Campus life, We have student launge in the main Building that is UC and our campuses are spread on all 4 direction as we have east,north, south, and central campus. There are around 20 clubs in the College and events of all the clubs are held on every wednesday. There is no tension of availability of books as the course material fees are included in the fees hence every student will be provided with their own book of the course. Fest like hackathons and inginium happen in the month of january or february. There are programs designed for the students by which they can work for the univeristy and earn some pocket money.
Hostel Facilities :
I have my friend who has opted for the hostel facility, so to brief it out there are total 4 hostel in AU FLH-1, FLH-2, FLH-3 and FLH-4 out of which FLH -3 is hybrid and 1 and 2 are of girls and boys respectively.Student villa is under development and soon will be ready to use for the hostel purposes. The food quality provided by the AU is not that bad one can eat that food without any hesitation. Menu is different for different days and veg and non-veg both are served in the mess as well as jain food is also available. For registration you have to contact the administrator of the hostel. Affordability wise it is little high for the pocket as the fees for 2 sharing room for the whole year is 205000/- and 45000/- for mess so the total comes up to 250000/- for the year. Pg are also available in radius of 1 km from the college. The condition of the rooms are also great and transportation facility is also provided by the AU from hostel to college and college to hostel. Not for PG.

Average CGPA should be more than 8. Packages providing will be approx 1.5-3.0 LPA. The placement is about 90%. The packages provided are good and satisfactory. After completing this bachelor's degree I would go for masters degree.

No placements are there . The aveeagw placement in the market is about 1.5 to 4.5 lakhs .As compared to the different field the packages for the freshers are very low . But the faculties based on their refrences they give the opportunity.

Plans after course generally comprise of of masters, as there is saturation of jobs in B. Pharm market, and masters help in skill development and making students employable in the industry as well as education.

I havent got any job offer or placement from this University because i m a Diploma student but i will definitely try to search by myself for the job opportunities.I would rather handle my home business may be an 9 to 5 Job.

I have selected this course because of placement opportunity. Faculties members are highly qualified and they usually teach using PPT, white board, computer, etc . There is one mid term exam and one gtu exam per semester.
