The college do attract placements from IT companies nearby, like UST global and many other companies based in Technopark situated nearby the campus. We can't expect decent packages from them, and typically the packages start from 4-5 LPA. If we perform explicitaly well in academics, huge companies like Bosch or Intel can select mostly just a single student from our college. Since I would be expecting a higher starting package, I would most probably go for specialisation courses like Cyber security or Ethical hacking from where we can potentially get offers from better companies offering better packages hopefully.
One main reason why I chose this college was because it was very near to my home. Since I never got admission to any desired colleges through the KEAM examination, Marian Engineering college was a decent choice amomg all the private colleges in my area since it offered decent placements. If we're applying for a management seat, they would do a short interview on us which won't really matter since they only ask mainly for the reason why we chose the desired course. But the main deciding factor would be our +2 marks and our KEAM score. There are chances where we won't get our desired course, so they will offer us seats for other branches. For those who are selected for merit based admission through KEAM, the admission is guaranteed. The college offers a fairly big campus with greenery, sports grounds and basketball courts. They do offer facilities like libraries, laboratories for different departments etc, but some classrooms look like they might need some maintainance or an upgrade.

The main reason I chose this college is that I've heard there's good placements in here. The Faculty is decent. They teach the concepts finely. I've also heard there's absolutely no ragging here and it is true. The seniors are friendly and they mind their own businesses.

The admission process was good ,they were nice to the parents and dealt good with other cleared all our doubts regarding the admission process I was admitted to the college through kEAM exam's rank ,so there was no interview or things like that for me The college is excellent for studies ,they are pretty much very strict comparing to other colleges, here they treat us like we are school children and programs/cultural 's are very much none as we mainly just have an yearly college fest and that's it
Read Full ReviewThe basic eligibility for placements is the SGPSA and back papers. But now companies even hire students with backpacks. TATA, INFOSYS, BHARAT BENZ are some the main companies that are coming there are a lot all of those cant be listed here. The average salary package is 3 LPA. 80% of our students get placed rest opt for higher studies. Am planning for my master's.
The factors that made me choose this college are that it's a well-known college for the past 2 decades with good campus placements. The college is near my place it is one of my main concerns the faculty are known for their good work and knowledge and the college is the no.1 private college in my district. At the time of admission, I did undergo a small interview which was done by the management. The general condition for getting a management seat is that you should have passed the KEAM Entrance examination. The college mainly focuses on studies rather than other events and programmes.
Read Full ReviewThe eligibility criteria for placement is getting marks above 80% with a shown skill in whatever the companies like. This college has tie-ups with lots of companies so the placement here is very good. Recruiters like Gen Robotics, Tata consultancy, allanite, kinfra parallels etc are some of them on the list. I plan to take an MBA from abroad and wish to settle there.
The factors that I choose this college are, very good looking campus with plenty of greenaries and filled with essential facilities. There is no group discussion or any interviews and no other written tests for students to get admission. The main bad aspect is that the management sometimes lacks with favorable decisions to students for conducting programs and events. As we all know no institutions are 100% perfect, hence my overall experience with this college was great and memorable.
Read Full ReviewThe college organizes aptitude tests, aptitude training, coding training, placement assistance, etc. 50 % of the students are getting placed every year. I would like to work as a data analyst or data scientist job.
I first heard about my college during a career guidance class, which made me interested in applying. I got in by taking the KEAM exam and earned a merit seat. The services and teaching at this college are excellent. All the faculty members are very supportive and always push us to participate in various activities beyond academics. However, they still give priority to our studies. The college organizes various workshops, seminars, aptitude training, and coding training and provides great placement assistance. These activities help us learn more and prepare for our future careers. The balance between academics and extracurricular activities ensures that we gain knowledge in our fields and develop important life skills. The supportive environment and diverse opportunities make this college a great place to grow and succeed.
Read Full ReviewPlacement categories depend upon the company's criteria. Max of 2 backlogs can be accepted. UST is the main company that considers this college as they have a good friendship with Marian College. As of the year, 2024 placement view more than 200+ students have been recruited by technopark companies including UST, and TATA. The package depends upon the company. AS ust gives more package consideration. My plan after my degree is to be placed in the company.
The college is really good, Nice environment and good teaching. No interviews are done. Application is done online and if selected means will be called. Students should have written the KEAM exam to avail government seat or else can apply for an NRI seat. Preparing for the KEAM exam is not needed as the syllabus of 11th and 12th are covered in the exam.
Read Full ReviewThere have been a lot of placements this year and Marian has almost 80% placement, companies such as TCS, UST etc visit the college for placement, I want a job in the IT field as some kind of software engineer and find a good package
I chose this college because I wanted to pursue btech in electronics and computer engineering, and it was only available in 3 colleges at that time, so among all the options of college I liked Marian to be better, for admission you have to qualify for KEAM or there are other quotas through which u can enter too, the cut-off ranks for various courses are different, you can also change branches after the first year if you are eligible, also the branches available in this college is specified in the website of Marian engineering college, you can attempt JEE or KEAM entrance exam for qualification and pass the exam, you'll choose according to the rank and allotment, both merit seats and management seats are available, the fees might change accordingly, merit seat students might need to pay 75000 or SMTG a year and others might have to give more.

There was a type of interview session between the candidate and management. That went well for all. That is held to do an open interview between the management and students. To know them better. It was a good experience.
