Campus is very good and spacious but the problem is the security the misunderstand when a boy and a girl be together and they act like they own the college with is not good for the students they must get already minimum respect

Campus is very good the facilities are all Ok but the security doesn't allow a girl and a boy to sit together, they watch as if a girl and a boy sits together then they are couple Sports are too good in our college And clubs are amazing

Fests are like many . But the mains are MILAN and TIARA - a tech fest. MILAN is usually held in the month of December and TIARA will be conducted for 3 days and in the month of MAY. We have Digital Library which is open for 24/7. We be having sports day in the month of MARCH.

There are 2 fests conducted every year Milan : Cultural fest in odd sems. Tiara : All India Technical Fest in even sems. Well developed computer labs, digital libraries and the central library plays a pivotal role in enhancing the learning experience.

there are multiple fests in SJEC Mangalore and conducted every odd semester the biggest fest of SJEC is called tiara conducted at the end of the odd semester during semester break there is a sports day every December and all the winners are honoured.

If you are someone who along with studies also wants to live life then SJEC is not the place for you as there like one event every semester. generally, the campus is merely quiet. on a weekday you would feel like it's a holiday.

St joseph is not the right place to have a social life and I say it because we have 2 fests throughout the year with each of them in alternate semesters. The clubs are also nothing special of any sort although you can join them and gain knowledge. Coming to the hostel, there are mainly two types of rooms, the ac attached washroom ones and the non-ac non-attached ones. If you are someone that needs well-furnished rooms with attached washrooms then you can go for the AC rooms as they are well maintained and pretty cheap in comparison to the Banglore hostels. Normally the non-rooms are also great just that you don't get enough cabinets and need to share common washrooms.

Our campus is well known for its social life and its clubs too. Our College hosts multiple clubs based on all departments for example since I am from AIML and under the ICBS department we have our very own NEXUS club which helps in conducting IT talks and stuff related to Industry. And we have BAJA teams as well both M-Baja and E-Baja. As for social life, we have various cultural as well as interdepartmental activities going on throughout the year.

Pros are The college campus is very clean and green, The Curriculum isn't complicated, Most of the faculties are supportive, the Response from management over complaints is pretty good as well, Friendly environment, you don't see violence of any sort in the campus, Extremely quiet place, you could barely hear any noise throughout the day, Labs and Classrooms are all well equipped with latest computers and servers, wifi facility is very good in the labs as well. Cons are the campus is quite small, you might get bored eventually, Extra curricular activities are very less here, Rules are very strict when it comes to attendance, you could be penalized for not attending events, Food in the college canteen is a bit bland, Wifi facility in hostel sucks you get around 20mbps,that's it, Overall Sjec is a decent college with good scope and opportunities, for people serious about their career this college is the right choice and for people looking for a bit more fun you could pick alternatives.

Campus life was quite interesting and the college has many clubs related to tech and culture. Tiara is held in May. Milan is held in January or December. Sports Day will be held in January or February. Classrooms have good infrastructure and the PowerPoint presentation will be there. Sports Day will be held every year. And VTU level competitions and state-level competitions were held every held. The college supports all sports. Salt Snap is a social media and Terror Bulls and Aero craft are some etc. are other clubs run by the students. The hostel has the best infrastructure and the best food they have both veg and non-veg foods. For AC rooms, u should register before.
