Remarks :
As someone already from Mangaluru, I already have some info about St Joseph, and from what I have heard its a very decent and well-reputed college with a good scope for higher studies plus the location of the college is also great, not too far not too near to the city.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is pretty flexible as it is an autonomous institution and I fell that's a good thing because every semester we get to choose the elective subject of our choice which can make our syllabus a lot easier in comparison to VTU colleges.
Placement Experience :
I am currently in the 4th semester so I am not sure about how the placement curriculum is but so far we've been given aptitude courses from faculties across the country and it is pretty beneficial if you stay focused. from what I've heard the campus placements are pretty good with some students bagging up until 25lpa but most of the students pursue higher education due to high competition.
Campus Life :
If you are someone who along with studies also wants to live life then SJEC is not the place for you as there like one event every semester. generally, the campus is merely quiet. on a weekday you would feel like it's a holiday.

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

Eligibility for the placements is 7+ cgpa if you have higher cgpa higher the chances of you getting shortlisted for the interview and it will be easy for you Recuriters visited Cisco,Visa,Emerson,NetApp and many more for the internships and full time Highest package is 56 LPA and average package will be around 10 LPA for the computer science and Engineering for other branches it may vary

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
