Swami Vivekananda Institute of Technology, established in 2004, is located in Secunderabad, Telangana. It is affiliated with the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, and is recognized by the Government of Telangana. SVIT is also approved by AICTE and the UGC. It is graded ‘A’ by NAAC.

SVIT offers BTech as its flagship course. To be eligible for admission, candidates need to secure 45% in 10+2 (40% marks in the case of reserved categories) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. The final selection will be based on the JEE Mains or the TS EAMCET examination score. The SVIT Cutoff for TS EAMCET 2024 for the general category ranged from 44044 - 87476 depending on the specialization. The SVIT fee for BTech for all the specializations is INR 3.23 lakhs.

SVIT Placements 2023 recorded the highest CTC offered being INR 4 LPA by Regalix. TCS and Infosys offered INR 3.6 LPA, the second-highest CTC. Some of the recruiters were Infosys, Genpact, Tata Consultancy, ICICI Bank, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Accenture, Amazon, etc.
