Decent Tier 2 MBA college

What I Liked

College campus is pretty good with trees and beautiful sky around.
Faculties are very friendly, helping and pretty knowledgable.

What I didn’t like

Campus location (60km from the main city)
Administration department is not upto the mark and there are lot of restrictions

Placement Experience:

Good companies visit for placements. I got placed with one of the Big4. Criterias are mostly around academics of 60% overall. Some companies have greater criteria of around 70% as well. Average package for PGDM program goes upto 15-17 LPA.

Remarks:

Decent Tier 2 college for pursuing MBA with cat score around 85-90%ile. There was no group discussion involved but interviews with normal management questions and the Scores from any reputed institute like CAT, XAT, NMAT, CMAT, GMAT were applicable.

Great Lakes Chennai Review

What I Liked

100% placements offered by the college to the students
Diverse background of students coming to the campus

What I didn’t like

Return On Investment of the college could get better
Location of the college is away from the main city

Placement Experience:

The placement in the college is very attractive. Almost everyone gets placed after the completion of course and prominent recruiters like JP Morgan BNY Mellon ICICI Bank visits the campus to give placements to the students.

Remarks:

I chose the college as it comes into the top 50 BSchools in India and has a good placement record as well. There were WAT and PI evaluation at my time in which the questions were mainly revolving around my academics and the place I am from.

Life at Great Lakes, Chennai

What I Liked

Infrastructure is very good here and has many facilities
Basketball court, tennis court, pool table ,table tennis, cricket ground, football ground all is provided here

What I didn’t like

Mess food is not up to the mark, compared to the fees they charge for it

Placement Experience:

Almost everybody gets placed. Some good companies that visited this year are tcs, deloitte, bny mellon, accenture, itc etc. Some profiles offers are business analyst, auditor, solutions provider, marketing associate etc

Remarks:

Faced analytical writing test and interview. This college had good alumni, whi are in good places after graduating from here and good companies visit the campus for placements and internships. Overall this is a good college
