Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies Pune was established in 1974. It is a constituent of Symbiosis International (Deemed University). It offers postgraduate programs in management studies consisting of full-time MBA and Executive MBA programs.

To be eligible for admission, the candidate should be a graduate of any recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade at graduation level.
Defence category candidates should be son/ daughter/ spouse of Defence personnel.
Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination.
