MY COLLEGE

What I Liked

The campus life is great and we have great seniors.
Our teachers are well experienced and they help in our studies a lot.

What I didn’t like

The play ground is very small and it is hard for us to practice in it.
Our college needs a make over as the infrastructure needs to be developed.

Placement Experience:

In the end of the course there isa guaranteed job for all the candidates and the college gives us suggestions to attend interviews. The highest package goes upto 700000 per annum and the min drops to 84000 per annum. There is 100 percent job offer for each and every student of our college. My plan is to get a job as son as possible.

Internships Opportunities:

No, for now I have not opted for any internship as I am a second year student of the college. I will be opting for internships in my third year of the college. I will be opting for paid internships.

What I Liked

I like the campus life Gmit have a great campus
All the faculty members are also very good

What I didn’t like

College's infrastructure are very bad condition
Play ground's conditions are very bad . So many problems are faced.

Placement Experience:

Criteria is minimum 80% cgp is required. Our college have so many chances to have placement. The highest package is 10lkh and the average package is 50lkh. Students must have 80% for placement. After getting the degree I have a good placement.

Internships Opportunities:

Companys names are - TCS,INFOSYS, AMAZON, FLIPKART etc. Marketing manager,project manager,Accountant, Business analysis. Stipend is 60k. So the overall package is very good and I am obsessed. Project names

GMIT ,the college that make your college life memorable.

What I Liked

College's teacher are more friendly.You will never feel that you are talking to a teacher ,it feels as if you are talking to your seniors.And ours Seniors is like our elder brother.
Good campus ,good college life ensures your college life will be memorable.

What I didn’t like

Our college is at evolving stage ,so it make someone annoying.
The no of holidays is very low,it hardly get any leave.

Placement Experience:

In terms of placement and internship ,which is the main characteristics before choosing any college,our college never disappoint s you.In CSE department almost 72% placed and if consider overall stats around 65% students are placed ,with highest package of 12LPA

I have elected for Cognify ,it's a company based on web technology ,I have been given a task of basic web designing part ,on their company .After that due to my semester exam I am not able to apply various company. For your kind info I am 4th sem(2nd year) student.

College is good but you need to work hard on your skill to get a decent placement

What I Liked

One thing I really like about the college is its modern infrastructure. The campus facilities are top-notch, providing students with everything they need to succeed academically and socially.
Another aspect I appreciate is the dedicated and knowledgeable faculty members. They not only impart knowledge but also mentor and guide students, ensuring their overall development and success.

What I didn’t like

One aspect that could be improved is the size of the library. While it has a decent collection of books, it can get a bit crowded during peak times, making it challenging to find a quiet space to study.
Another thing that I find lacking is the availability of sports facilities. Although the campus has some sports facilities, I believe there is room for expansion and improvement to cater to a wider range of sporting interests among students.

Placement Experience:

The placements and job opportunities are excellent, with many top companies visiting the campus for recruitment drives. The college has a dedicated placement cell that provides students with training and support to help them secure lucrative job offers. However, if campus placement is not offered, I feel confident about my employability after completing the course. I plan to utilize the knowledge and skills gained during my studies to pursue internship opportunities and eventually secure a job in my field of interest.

Good friends in college life

What I Liked

Have lots of friends, supportive friends we enjoy and study together and help each other without expecting any return from them that is wholesome
Very greenery campus, infrastructure is good

What I didn’t like

Placement opportunities, some books is not available and sometimes faculties for some subjects
Course curriculum studies not available

Placement is less and placement companies are offering very small salary, it is not a well-known college and this college is situated in rural areas thats why in this college big companies not come or hire student

Internships Opportunities:

I have done an internship in web development, and in this internship i have made many projects from basic projects to advance project and it was very experience for me as it was my first internship in life so it was a great experience

Budget friendly college

What I Liked

Infrastructure is really good because it is quit large
Campus life is also very good because faculty are very friendly they help a lot after college too

What I didn’t like

No. Of faculty is less. It need to add more faculties
Lots of classroom are not in used. They can utilise it in many ways

Placement Experience:

Placements are good if u study and work hard then. In each year there are 90% plus placements take place. Carrier development cells work well for the students. Their main motive is to provide a job to each of the students.

Internships Opportunities:

College provides internships which is paid and that is very nice for any student as an engineer which helps in getting experience. From 3rd year of academics the college will provide internships and the college always helps to study in certain languages which is in more demand to get the internship or a job easily.

Best Private Engineering College of West Bengal: Gargi Memorial Institute of Technology

What I Liked

The campus of Gargi Memorial Institute of Technology is very big and green. In 2024, festivals like GEMISHA and GMARG will be held here, which is very amazing. There is a boys and girls hostel near this college which you will get at very low cost. The hostel's kitchen is very big and the rooms are also very big.
I am campusing in 4th year in Gargi Memorial Institute of Technology. In which students get placement or internships in companies like TCS, Bassetti, Infosys and Capgemini etc.

What I didn’t like

Gargi Memorial Institute of Technology is overall a very good college but some of it is not good as the labs here and its instruments are a bit old. Because of this, we do not get accurate output from lab instruments.
The canteen of Gargi Memorial Institute of Technology is not good, good food is not available here.

Placement Experience:

I am campusing in 4th year at Gargi Memorial Institute of Technology. Students get placement or internships in companies like TCS, Bassetti, Infosys Capgemini, etc. If the student is talented then the college itself provides him internship here.

Best Emerging Engineering College: Gargi Memorial Institute of Technology

What I Liked

The infrastructure of our college is very good. There is a green and big campus here, there is a very big library which has a lot of books.
We have our own canteen there, where we go to have lunch. There are very good laptops here, the equipment is also very good.

What I didn’t like

In most of the engineering colleges, the placement here is also decreasing day by day, the college faculty is not paying attention to the placement situation and it is like this in our entire India that engineering colleges charge huge fees but the placement is not proper.
This college is located in a very rural area due to which there are few facilities here and for treatment or daily needs one has to go to the station which is at a distance of half an hour from here.

Placement Experience:

Students are entitled to sit for campus placements starting in their fourth year of study. Amazon, Bassetti, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Techno-Exponent, and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Our college offers packages ranging from?14 lakhs at the highest too? 4 lakhs at the lowest average. Eighty percent of students are placed in 2022, one hundred percent in 2023, and now, seventy-nine percent of students are placed in 2024. Companies continue to visit and campus recruiting continues. After I graduate, I want to launch my own startup company.

Internships Opportunities:

From 4th year onwards students are eligible for sitting in campus placements. Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Bassetti, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Techno-Exponent, Amazon The highest package of our college is? 14 lakhs and the average package out our college is? 4 lakhs. 80 % of students get placed in the year 2022, 100% of students get placed in the year 2023 and 79% of students get placed till now in 2024 the campusing is still going on and companies are visiting.

Our college gmit

What I Liked

The campus life is very good with full of greenery
The faculties are very good they help us. Alot to solve our quaries

What I didn’t like

There is no hostel in the main campus and no hotels
The maintenance of the toilet is very poor

Placement Experience:

After completing b.tech there are so many companies visited in our campus like TCS Wipro Capgemini Flipkart etc. and 7 LPA they are offering to the student highest 12 lacs and average 3LPA And the percentage of students getting placement after completing the b.tech is around 80

Internships Opportunities:

The company that offers internships are basset, runtime solutions, etc. They are offering job roles like SDE and data analyst business analyst, and many more jobs like projects like frontend developer backend developer, etc

What I Liked

It is one of the good college. Faculty behaviour is also impressed me.
Campus Life is a memorable moment. Some of students are gathering to discuss verious topic.

What I didn’t like

I dislike our college lab room. Many products have not. Room are totally destroyed.
College bathroom is also destroyed. Wall painting is removed from the wall. Just looking abandon house.

Placement Experience:

After completing course, our college give all of students for placement and job opportunities. Some of students who did not choose our college placement for higher studies. Those placement are amount 20k to 25k around. It is also good for a student for being their financial problems .
