- Our teachers are well experienced and they help in our studies a lot.
Dislikes
- The play ground is very small and it is hard for us to practice in it.
- Our college needs a make over as the infrastructure needs to be developed.
Remarks :
The college Gargi Memorial Institute of Technology is affordable and the fees structure is well developed so that it do not create any kind problem for any student from any kid of family or financial background There were no admission exam or group discussion or interview held by our college for the admission process.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I was interested in the learning of Electrical Engineering. My aim is to become an well experienced Electrical Engineer that is the main reason for me to choose this course i this college. The faculties are well trained in the field of education and they help us a lot in our situations and are very good guardians. There are 2 exams held every year in semester system. Unfortunately I don't get any kind of scholarship or financial assistance.
Internships Opportunities :
No, for now I have not opted for any internship as I am a second year student of the college. I will be opting for internships in my third year of the college. I will be opting for paid internships.
Placement Experience :
In the end of the course there isa guaranteed job for all the candidates and the college gives us suggestions to attend interviews. The highest package goes upto 700000 per annum and the min drops to 84000 per annum. There is 100 percent job offer for each and every student of our college. My plan is to get a job as son as possible.
Campus Life :
There is an upcoming fest in the month of March and it is going to be huge. There are available books and journals in our library related to our studies so we don't have any shortage of study materials. I am currently living in a mess namely "Didir Bari". It is located near the College.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
