College world

What I Liked

College is good. Faculties are the best thing in our college friendly and encouraging in every aspects. There will be lots of events going on.Campus is eco-friendly. Its near ghats so the weather here is quite chill not too much of heat. Campus is filled with greenery you feel connected to nature

What I didn’t like

Campus is quite small.The amount of people getting placed is quite less.Hostel facilities need to be improved a lot

Course Curriculum Overview:

Faculties of our branch are extremely helpful they do not pressurize us they help you throughout you're journey being with you. Not only in academics but also in other fields.Since our college is VTU affiliated they conduct our exams and the valuation is done there.

Placement Experience:

Placement are pretty decent.CS students have high chance of getting place also EC dept as well. But you need to work hard.Companies like Infosys,TCS and some startups visits.Highest package would be around 5lpa and average would be 3lpa.Percentage of getting selected is quite less unless you're highly skilled.As of now I'm doing various courses online planning to do internship hope I get placed in on campus interviews

All About VDIT, Haliyal

What I Liked

I like the faculty of the college because they all are free to talk and cares for us.

What I didn’t like

I am unhappy with the campus life as the annual event is so boring they call local kannada singer as everyone can't understand the Kannada language and most of the students didn't get Vibe in the event.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculties are well in teaching with lot of experience and every branches has better faculty as per their course. All faculties are graduated with the minimum experience of 7 to 8 years which is quite interesting for looking into the college.

Placement Experience:

There are no much placements in this college because of recession I can understand as recently Accenture company had taken eight students from this college as the employees and in future I think many companies will visit so I can't blame the college about placements because every college is facing this problem because of recession and so many B.E. pass outs.

What I Liked

Infrastructure is good , library is good , campus is good with greenery

What I didn’t like

Bus facility, buses are there they charge 15k per year for far students buses are from Dharwad, hubli, belgaum & dandeli after paying that money also some students stand and come for 40-50 kms ,

Course Curriculum Overview:

The teaching is good enough not next level but students can understand if you have doubts teacher don't hesitate to repeat it and it is true not simply telling. We have 2 internal the gap is between 1 and half month for internal and we have final exam as it is a VTU affiliated college

Placement Experience:

Placement is decent not so good not so bad very less students get placement. I have planned to do MBA after this . But I get a job opportunity in nvidia, AMD , or any company like this I will go for that .
