Life in and around MECS

What I Liked

In our college the nature and vibe is quite positive and I can surely say that this college has the besttt cleanliness and hygiene
The infrastructure is quite new and all the lab equipment runs in a good condition. The campus is small when compared to other big fat colleges but it's really hygienic and clean with lots of greenery everywhere

What I didn’t like

The main drawback is that we have a minimal space for ground
The campus life very much in a closed environment with only few people around us .I feel exposure is a bit less

Placement Experience:

The eligibility is for the students is above and 7 gpa ,we have a good companies accompained with the college like huge MNC 's like Infosys ,Mahendra etc. But most of the students opt to got for walk in interviews for a better packages and few of them go for Mtech by writing gate

Internships Opportunities:

Internships are provided on the merit basis .We have both online and offline internship programs Students worked on projects like Chandrayan 2 and many more space research projects and also many private companies also hire the students from our college for internship programs

MATRUSRI ENGINEERING COLLEGE OVERALL REVIEW

What I Liked

Collage environment Well experience faculty Evergreen environment
Fests they conduct They allow students to participate in extracurricular activities

What I didn’t like

No outdoor ground provided for playing outdoor game like cricket or football etc
Small campus of around 3 acer No non veg food is available in canteen

Placement Experience:

70% placements according to past analysis There is no eligibility criteria for placements as of now.But it depends on the company. The highest package is around 25lpa. My plan is to do MS in foreign country.

Internships Opportunities:

NPTEL- we have to register for it.collage will provide us proper information and guide us for doing the course. Many hackthons and ideathons are conducted and further they select best for national level

My college my review

What I Liked

I like the campus greenery, the well maintained tress and gardens with marking the number of tress.
I like the fact that our college is 100% green college which runs on only solar power.

What I didn’t like

The first thing i strongly dislike is the campus is very small.
The faculty in higher positions have a lot of attitude and ego.

Placement Experience:

The placements provided by the college are good and decent varying from 4 lakhs per annum to 6 lakhs per annum and the highest package till now is 28 lakhs per annum. Placements mostly starts from 3rd year depending on many criterias. Approx 70% of the students get placements provided by the college.

Internships Opportunities:

I am a student of 2nd year and i have not done any internship till date. The internships maybe in 3rd year depending up on the students performance such as skills and education wise. I hope I get a good internship and a good placement by the college

College life: A student's Perspective.

What I Liked

There are many Clubs in our college and there are no. of events happening in college.
Social Interactions with Seniors and Juniors

What I didn’t like

Our college has a very small campus compared to other colleges.
Our college doesn't have that great sports facilities.

Placement Experience:

-YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE ANY BACKLOGS - TCS-13,INFOSYS-29,IBM-45,TECHMAHINDRA-36,AT&T-30,WIPRO-33. -25LPA was the highest package and the average package is 10LPA. -Over 80% of students are placed every year. -To get a Central Govt. Job.

Internships Opportunities:

I did not had a chance to get myself into an internship since i am just in my second year of engineering and my college allows a student to attend an internship only when they are in their 3rd year of engineering.

JUST AN AVG ENGINEERING COLLEGE.

What I Liked

Faculty are friendly, the college is over all nice

What I didn’t like

Too many rules and no often fests , we get more busy in studying instead of participating

Placement Experience:

I have no idea about the recruitment, however I've heard there are good placements in my college , working hard to get placed and everybody is a competitor here. It's a good college with focusing more on extra activities

Internships Opportunities:

I haven't opted any internship since I do not have prior experience her also the internships would be starting in the 3ed year. I haven't started off with any project either but I have participated in hackathons by my college

Life at MECS

What I Liked

the location of the college is in the Centre of the city which is very help full as it is near to everything needed.
a very green campus with overall 60+ trees and campus is powered with solar system which is very help full to reduce pollution.

What I didn’t like

the sports facilities at the campus is less for the strength available in the college.
college cafeteria is completely vegetarian and no nonveg is available in the college cafeteria.

Placement Experience:

there is good opportunity to get placed in very good companies through college as college provides you campus recruitment training from first year itself and placements are very good. the highest package last year was 24 lakhs per annum

Internships Opportunities:

yes, I have opted for embedded microchips internship from AICTE a government-based internship. and many other internship opportunities are also available through college as the placement cell in the college i linked with many corporate companies all over Hyderabad.

What I Liked

Campus life, clean washrooms , balanced facilities
discipline , convenient location , overall experience

What I didn’t like

the playground is small , there isnt much space for playing
slightly outdated curriculum , I wish they looked over it
lack of focus on skill enhancement

Eligibility criteria for placements: Students should have a cgpa of 7 points or above with no active backlogs companies like amazon , TCS , wipro , capgemini , accenture , delloite conduct placement drives annually Skillful students get placed with an average package of 4to5lpa . The highest package offered was 28lpa . I would like to study further after completion of my degree

Internships Opportunities:

I'm looking for internships currently . However some of my friends have worked as an intern . Their experience was good , but they had to look for it off campus . As of now , there are no intern hiring drives on campus

What I Liked

The college has Greenery and the labs are nicea d comfortable and library is good and spacious and easy to acces and the college has good canteen the college security system is good the faculty is helpful.
The campus life is good as we can play sports and games and acces library,labs and study in a beautiful and wonderful environment and u can easily connect with the labs and faculty and the books in library are very informative

What I didn’t like

The things I disliked about college are the faculty teaching method is an average
The labs faculty is not good enough to handle.

Placement Experience:

The placements and job opportunities are an average.the highest package is 25 lakhs and the average package is 5.5 lakhs the percentage of students getting placements is very less companies like Yamaha ,Amazon will recruit you.

Internships Opportunities:

The companies that offered internships are oracle , Microsoft,canvas , interships like web development, artificial intelligence, digital marketing, python,Java , javascript,html ,c++,c+,dta structures etc and many more.

What I Liked

The college provides few of talented and friendly faculty.
The campus is eco-friendly , with plants all around.

What I didn’t like

The college has a backstep on the quality of computers in labs.
Students in sports and other activities find it dificult to handle the pressure in academics.

Placement Experience:

The placement eligibilty requires no backlogs. Key recruiters include Accenture , Cognizant and Cognida.ai. The highest and average packages range from 3-4LPA, with around 50% of students placed. After my degree , I plan to persue MS.

Internships Opportunities:

No Internships are provided from the college , the students itself have to search for internships and submit their certificates to the college. In addition the college is not very friendly in providing the No Objection Certificate for the students to apply for internships as they are much concerned on attendence of the student.
