PG Selection and Application

Application Steps and Spot Admission

UG and PG applicants first complete the online form on the School of Distance Education website. After payment, they must print the form and submit it to the college with the necessary documents.

  1. Open the School of Distance Education website and choose online registration.
  2. Select Sign Up. Enter your Aadhaar Card details, email address and mobile number to register.
  3. Once registration succeeds, use your Aadhaar number and email ID to sign in.
  4. Choose your programme and enter the details requested in the form.
  5. Add your photograph as a JPEG file, then select Submit.
  6. Complete the payment in the payment window. Fees can be paid only online.
  7. Print the application after the payment is successful.

Submitting an Application Through Spot Admission

Students may also bring their application and all required documents directly to SDE for spot admission. This option carries a fee of INR 60. After checking the documents, the school returns the original certificates on the same day.

Scholarships and Fee Exemptions

SC, ST and OEC students do not have to pay tuition or examination fees if they are not employed in Government, Quasi-Government or Public Services. To claim this concession, eligible students must attach the required supporting documents to their application at admission.

Students with visual disabilities can receive an exemption from all special fees and examination fees by submitting a medical certificate.

Ans. An eligible SDE UOC student can seek a regular programme seat by following its normal admission process. A direct transfer is not available because distance and regular education are separate streams. Credits earned through distance study cannot be moved to a full-time course.
