Basic knowledge required for the first year students

What I Liked

What I like about the college is the faculties or the teachers care about the students and they understand the students problem . They’re friendly and nice to talk to . Which made the students more brave to ask the teachers what they do not understand in the classroom.
The campus itself is not big but its okay since since we got a canteen inside the campus too and enjoy our coffee or drinks while we talk .

What I didn’t like

There’s not much what i dislike about the college but yeah there might be some . The campus is a little smaller .
And the security guards they know our faces but they won’t let us in if we don’t have an id with us. Like I mean we literally saw each other’s face every day .

Placement Experience:

There is no such things provided still. Like the job apportunities and placements and all . And I personally have no idea about it as there’s no such thing in the college . But plans are to be made after completing the course which is a must do

Internships Opportunities:

I haven’t opted for any internship and hence the do not have the required knowledge to the details about the apportunities available in our college in doing internships. There might be some students opting for the internships but I haven’t really heard one till now.

Shillong College Review

What I Liked

Fee structure. It was very affordable for us.
Timings. It was very much helpful for students who had part time jobs.

What I didn’t like

Less co curricular activities. They could have made more investments in that.

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities were not directly available but many companies and institutions scouted our students through seminars and programmes for further job after the degree. The package differed from student to student and they were offered individually to them so it was hard to know the exact number.

Internships Opportunities:

No there were no internships provided to me from the college as it was not available during my time. After my college I did get a job which was a good one seeing my degree paying me enough for the begining of my career

What I Liked

I like my college as in the canteens whe we have all the availability things that helps us fill out tummy
I like the college library where we students can access the library with our library card both the online and offline library along with the computer that connected to wifi that can be done .
I like the teacher where we get quality education and they so good that they're really ready to help when you in need

What I didn’t like

I don't like that my college doesn't have a big campus where we can hangout .
I don't like the college toilet where it's so dirty and it's caused by the students .

Placement Experience:

Yes, we do get internships from our college where they send you the required documents needed for us to get into the internship and you'll have to get selected to get into it. Since I've never been recruited so I have no idea what's the average salary for that.

Internships Opportunities:

I've tried to opt for the internship but unfortunately, I couldn't get into the internship program so I have no idea what companies are there because I need to send my resume and they do the things where I get the placement too
