Pisciculture is one of the college’s specialised undergraduate options and supports the aquaculture sector in Northeast India. It is among the few fisheries science programmes offered at this level in Meghalaya. The skills-based BA in Media Technologies brings together mass communication and digital production.

How to Apply

  1. Select a course and confirm that the Class 12 subjects or qualifying degree meet its eligibility rules.

UG Science Admissions

Entry to B.Sc courses is through CUET-UG or direct merit. Students must have studied the science subjects relevant to their chosen specialisation in 10+2.

  • B.Sc Computer Science requires Mathematics in 10+2 and at least a 45% aggregate.
  • For B.Sc Biochemistry and Biotechnology, students need Physics, Chemistry and Biology in 10+2.
  • B.Sc Pisciculture requires 10+2 Science, with preference given to applicants who studied Biology or Agriculture.
  • Botany, Chemistry, Zoology, Physics and Mathematics applicants must have the matching science subjects at the 10+2 level.

Music Admissions

Students seeking BA Music or Bachelor of Music admission must pass 10+2 and qualify in the college’s music aptitude test. Enrolled students from any programme may take the Certificate in Music as an add-on course.

PG Admissions

The college selects postgraduate students through merit or the NEHU entrance test, depending on the programme.

  • MA in Education or Political Science requires a relevant BA or B.Sc degree with at least 45% marks.
  • M.Sc Biotechnology applicants need a B.Sc in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or a related subject with a minimum of 50%.
  • MCA requires a BCA or another bachelor’s degree that included Mathematics, with at least 50%.
  • Any graduate may apply for PGDCA, and computer literacy is preferred.
