Basic knowledge required for the first year students
Likes
- What I like about the college is the faculties or the teachers care about the students and they understand the students problem . They’re friendly and nice to talk to . Which made the students more brave to ask the teachers what they do not understand in the classroom.
- The campus itself is not big but its okay since since we got a canteen inside the campus too and enjoy our coffee or drinks while we talk .
Dislikes
- There’s not much what i dislike about the college but yeah there might be some . The campus is a little smaller .
- And the security guards they know our faces but they won’t let us in if we don’t have an id with us. Like I mean we literally saw each other’s face every day .
Remarks :
I personally choose this college because the college has the best review and star amongst any other colleges in Shillong . And during the admissions I did face any written test but I had a little conversation with the head of my departments and yes there are cut off in the admission process as many students comes for admission because of the good name it has.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course itself is organisation behaviour which is hard I should say but the teachers there are very friendly and good which means you can ask them if you have any doubts and they won’t hesitate to explain it again to you as their main goal is to let each and every student learn.
Internships Opportunities :
I haven’t opted for any internship and hence the do not have the required knowledge to the details about the apportunities available in our college in doing internships. There might be some students opting for the internships but I haven’t really heard one till now.
Placement Experience :
There is no such things provided still. Like the job apportunities and placements and all . And I personally have no idea about it as there’s no such thing in the college . But plans are to be made after completing the course which is a must do
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
First for registering your name online you need to pay a sum of ?1500 and if your name is on the selected list and you are to do the admission , in the first 1semester total amount in doing the admission is ?24000 which can be paid once or twice as wish during the semester. And for the 2semester you need to pay a sum of ?18000 which can be paid once or twice as wish during the semester ie before the semester ends . And before every exam there’s an exam fee of ?1600(per exam) which need to be paid to be able to write the exam . As the BBA have a uniform, a sum of ?5000 is charge for the dress . That’s all the compulsory charges for the first year.
Campus Life :
The campus of the college itself is not big but it’s not very small too , so personally I should say it’s okay. Every year there are programs in the college such as food festivals, college week , sports ,and etc. and as there are too many students for the campus we don’t celebrate teachers day together but we do celebrate it in stream wise . There is a huge basketball court inside the campus too . There are student unions which is run the students itself to look after small problems and if needed they console with the teachers.
Hostel Facilities :
I do not opted for the college hostel , however I do stay in another hostel . The food are okay I should say but it’s not that good . They don’t give us tea which is sad. For the hostel admission it comes around ?18000 with one month fee and from every next month a sum of ? 7000 need to be paid for the fees.

The employment rate of my course is demanding so I opt this. Also there is campus opportunity for some courses available in the college. After biotechnology you can choose any profession like professor researcher etc .

Job opportunities from our college is not quite good, but our college is renowned for their excellence in commerce so employability after completion of course is not a big issue especially for me, i personally would like to get involved in financial sectors

Since it's a college affiliated under NEHU, so there's only graduation course here. But if you want to do masters you have go to NEHU for that. Only then you will get a good placement. But I had friends in other departments they were given the opportunity to sit for placement interview but again the package isn't as high as someone would get after post graduation.

Placement opportunities were not directly available but many companies and institutions scouted our students through seminars and programmes for further job after the degree. The package differed from student to student and they were offered individually to them so it was hard to know the exact number.

80% placement is sure 100% sure 23k for the new minimum it is 4 to 5 lakh package which is amazing as a fresher and the PG rooms is also good idli do output percentage of students getting plus mint and criteria is from the website.

Since I’m still under graduation , I don’t know much about the placements here. But my plans after my graduation is to persue MBA from a good university. But as I’ve heard from my seniors, the placements here are quite good and many of the students grab the placement opportunities that are offered here.
