What I Liked

I like the campus size, it feels open here unlike the other campus.
The most good thing I like about my campuses being Uttarakhand's top Government medical College

What I didn’t like

I just dislike the senior junior interaction here ,this colleges one of the infamous in this
Lack of sports activities and lack of cultural activities.

Placement Experience:

When we talk about the placements and internships, as there in all the colleges of medical, you have to do internship for 1 year after the completion of your 4th or final year, the salary depends on state to state, as of now the salary here in Uttarakhand is approximately 17000 per month in the internship, after the internship you can easily grab approximately 100000 per month

Remarks:

Actually I choose this college because I was left with no another option because I belong from Haryana so there were 7 years Bond and I didn't wanted to get involved in Bond system so this was the main reason of choosing this college

Things to know before getting admission in GMC haldwani

What I Liked

The best part about the campus area the gym and library, the whole library is air conditioned with a high speed wifi and good natural lighting
The gym is well equipped with good machines two posing rooms, maintenance is not that good but gym is still decent

Placement Experience:

Job opportunities are plenty being an mbbs graduate, there are no recruits that come in the campus but you can get the job at various hospitals, clinics etc or you can also get placed in the college itself as a junior resident

Remarks:

It is the oldest college in uttarakhand this have the maximum patient inflow and the most experienced faculty You can get into the college by giving NEET exam and a state or national level councelling process which is based on merit

What I Liked

Sports and cultural event are organised by college
The area of campus is peaceful and greenery

What I didn’t like

The seniors are ragging you if you are fresy
Some faculty members are rude and misbehave sometime

Eligibility criteria for placement-you need to pass final year of the course then college provide the placement for you Highest package -approx 30000 per month Average package-approx 15000 to 18000 per month Percentage of student getting placement is more than 50 %

Remarks:

Good aspects - in our college lots of cultural and sports event organised by college Admission process- during admission some certification required like sthai nivas praman Patra, jaati praman Patra, migration certificate, 10th class marksheet copy, 12th class marksheet copy, Aadhar card copy these are mainly required

What I Liked

Campus is very big and green environment around
All type of facilities are available like library, gym , ground, games indor etc.

What I didn’t like

Sometimes in summer electricity issues in the campus
Bikes and vechile are not allowed in the campus for students

Placement Experience:

We will be good in society, you do not need to worry about placement. Or 1y 1yr internship is mandatory after 4.5 yr of mbbs. You will get 22k per month in the internship which is a very good amount.

Remarks:

I got 19526 Air. And I'm from Uttarakhand, it is the best college in Uttrakhand so i chose this The campus is very good and big And the type of facilities available on the campus like gym, sports, library etc

Knowing GMC Haldwani

What I Liked

I like enbiromwnt of collwgw campus. Its beautigul and so soothing in this hectic course and schedule. A walk in campus is a factor that helps us a stressbuster.
Faculty and patient load is also very good

What I didn’t like

i dont like restrictions in our college which is even though is for our safety

Placement Experience:

After course completion, we usually take the NEET PG entrance exam and some also become non-PG JRs in different departments. So it is the student's choice whether they want to prepare for PG entrance or want to be non-PG JRs in a department for their preparation.

Remarks:

I chose this college because it is the oldest college in our state and one of the best in the country. The good aspects are experienced faculty and a good patient load for practice. The admission process is done by first cracking the NEET UG exam and then undergoing a counselling process by AIQ or by state quota.

My college.

What I Liked

I like the Greenery present. College has provision of gym, sports complex, sports ground, auditorium
Infrastructure is well maintained. Clean and calm environment

What I didn’t like

The frequency of fest and cultural events should increase
College cafeteria area can be increased

Placement Experience:

After you complete your Undergraduate program there is 1 year internship which is compulsory. The internship is provided by the college itself. We get nearly 17-25 thousand per month depending on batch.

Remarks:

After giving NEET exam i got admission in this college. I choose this college as it's near my home and also i want to stay in my own state I love the Greenery and infrastructure is nice ,well maintained.

Haldwani mbbs college

What I Liked

The infrastructure is nice as all the departments are maintained well.
The campus life can be a little more interesting by increasing the frequency of fest.

What I didn’t like

There should be a regulatory body responsible for the stray dogs inside campus. I personally am afraid of dogs.
The outdoor sports complex needs a little maintenance.

Placement Experience:

There is almost 100 percent placement as some of the students after becoming doctors join the government hospital or they open their own clinic also other opt for PG exam for their specialisation. I want to opt for the PG exams after my MBBS.

Remarks:

Good aspect College location is nice just below mountains & so much greenery. Also the campus is green too. Campus has a police station too. Bad aspect There are not many dustbins in the campus. There are so many stray dogs inside campus. There are limited hostel rooms as a result we have to share our rooms with 2 or sometimes 3 partners.

Why It was the best decision to join this college.

What I Liked

I like how they have so much greenery in the campus. It looks very nice in rainy seasons.
The sports complex is also very nice, they have an indoor & outdoor area for different games. We can play table tennis, badminton, carrom & chess in indoor games. In outdoor we can play football, cricket, volleyball, lawn tennis & basketball.

What I didn’t like

There are many stray dogs inside the campus which sometimes can be irritating at night.
The frequency of fest & events can definitely be increased as we get the opportunity to meet seniors and juniors and make friends with them.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is not provided but there are many job opportunities after completing the course. Many hospitals are ready to let the new candidates join. Almost all of the students get jobs after the course and some also prepare for PG exams to secure a seat in their dream branch.

Remarks:

Good Aspects • The Campus is very nice & green. • The campus has provisions of gym, sports complex, ground, auditorium, canteen, hostel & mess. • There are guards at every gate of the college & they ask for information from unknown individuals. • The campus is also well-lit at night. Bad Aspects • The roads & pavements inside of campus need a little work. • The frequency of the festivals & cultural events should increase.

What I Liked

College have very green and peaceful campus , also the campus is rush and pollution free .
The sports and gym facility are best according to a government medical College.

What I didn’t like

The campus doesn't have a large enough cafeteria for students
The campus is situated near the main market of Haldwani so there is rush nearby in the roads

Placement Experience:

After MBBS, A one-year internship is a must, and then the person can opt for the Neet PG exam and continue the post-graduation or you can serve government hospitals as a medical officer or initiate your private practice as an MBBS doctor.

Remarks:

The best aspect of the college is that it's the number one college for MBBS in Uttrakhand through state quota. You have to qualify Neet UG exam with a 600 plus score for the UR category for admission via state quota.

Placement Experience:

Since it's a medical College there will be a mandatory internship period that you have to complete under the Dr. Sushila Tiwari government hospital. After the degree most usually pursue some pist graduation course

Remarks:

Studies oriented Admission via the NEET ug examination Cut-off varies according to the category Good for pursuing mbbs from this college There could be some bad aspects like any other college but overall it's not a bad option to go for.
