The Meerut Institute of Technology was established in 2007. Affiliated to AKTU Lucknow, the institute is AICTE approved, besides being NBA and NAAC Grade B+ accredited. Admissions to MIT Meerut are based on merit and entrance, both. Candidates may apply for admission online via the college’s official website.
 

MIT Meerut’s flagship course is BTech, offered in 6 specialisations. Candidates are enrolled based on their Class 12 scores and UPSEE/JEE Main Scores. The total intake of this four-year program is 360 seats. INR 2.85 Lakhs to INR 3.4 Lakhs is the total fees of this program.
Besides BTech, Meerut Institute of Technology courses include BTech Lateral, BVoc, BBA, BPharm, BSc, BCA, BCom, MCA, and DPharma.

Meerut Institute of Technology awards scholarships based on academic excellence and family income. Scholarships are granted to SC, ST, General, Minority, and OBC students with a family income of less than Rs 2 Lakhs, annually. Scholarships to BTech students are granted based on Class 12 marks, with higher amounts for better scores. There is also a special INR 8,000 scholarship per year for female students in all courses, along with awards for the top performers in each course.
