DME, also known as Delhi Metropolitan Education, was established in August 2012. It is recognized by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and is affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The educational institution has been awarded a "Grade A" rating by GGSIPU. The college provides undergraduate and postgraduate programs in fields such as Law, Management, and Media & Journalism.

The university offers a variety of flagship courses such as BBA, BA LLB (Hons.), and BBA LLB (Hons.) The fees for the programs are as follows: BBA for INR 2.81 lakhs, BA LLB and BBA LLB for INR 4.63 lakhs, BAJMC for INR 2.66 lakhs, and LLM for INR 86,600. Admission to the college is based on the results of the IPU CET and CLAT. The overall cutoff for DME, IPUCET 2024, ranges from 1,324 to 10,456.

The minimum eligibility requirement for applicants is a 50% score in 10+2 grades in any stream for UG programs and an LLB Degree with 55% aggregate marks for the PG program. Financial assistance is available for academically successful students in the form of scholarships. The college has seen the participation of over 500+ recruiters in its placement activities.
