Job opportunities are not great. But it's improving, now private companies are participating in the placement process so it boosts the placement drive. Government post/job release once in a 2-3 years or more than that. So few people choose to wait or Purse higher education. Higher education like mtech through gate or mba through cat/xat/nmat etc. are generally students prefer.
