CDGI Indore Admission Process

CDGI fills seats through state-level centralized counselling and direct institute-level admission, depending on the course and seat category. B.Tech and M.Tech seats use JEE Main-based MP DTE counselling as well as direct management quota applications. Most programmes begin their academic session in July or August. Applications can be submitted through the institution's website or at its Gram Umrikheda campus on Khandwa Road, Indore.

B.Tech Admission

  1. Applicants must pass 10+2 or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The minimum required score is 45%, reduced to 40% for reserved categories.
  2. Students seeking a state quota seat must have a JEE Main score and register on the MP DTE portal.
  3. During counselling, applicants enter their preferred institution and engineering branches.
  4. After allotment, selected students report to CDGI for document checks and fee payment.
  5. Students who did not participate in state counselling may approach the institute office on Khandwa Road for direct or management quota admission. These seats do not require a JEE Main score.

State quota closing ranks differ across B.Tech branches, with CSE generally receiving the strongest competition. Direct management quota applications can be made for every branch.

MBA, BBA, BCA and B.Com Admission

For the MBA, CDGI considers CMAT, CAT and MAT scores. Shortlisted applicants attend a group discussion and personal interview at the institute before final admission. A graduation degree in any subject with 50% marks is required. BBA, BCA and B.Com seats are based on 10+2 merit and are processed through DAVV or through direct campus applications. These undergraduate courses do not have a compulsory entrance test.

Law Programme Admission

CDIL considers CLAT, state merit counselling and direct applications for BA LLB, BBA LLB and LLB. Applicants to either five-year integrated law course must have passed 10+2. Admission to the three-year LLB requires a bachelor's degree. DAVV counselling applies to seats filled through state merit.

Pharmacy Admission

B.Pharm applicants are considered through NEET-UG, while state merit is used for D.Pharma admission. The institute also accepts direct applications according to the applicable admission route.
