Within B.Tech, choices include Information Technology, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication, VLSI Design, IoT, Cyber Security, Data Science, AI and Machine Learning, and CSE. The four M.Tech options are Advanced Communication Engineering, AI and Data Science, Electronics VLSI, and IoT.

MBA study areas include Business Analytics, Systems Management, Production Management, Operations Management and Systems, Human Resource Management, Marketing, and Finance.

The admission route depends on the programme and institute. Entrance scores, academic marks and the applicable counselling process guide selection. Some courses also allow direct applications.

Applying for B.Tech at AITR

Students with Madhya Pradesh domicile take part in MPDTE's centralised counselling. Applicants without MP domicile may use AGI's direct admission route. To qualify, students must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Class 12. The minimum marks are 45% for the General Category and 40% for SC/ST, following state rules. A valid JEE Main or CUET UG score is also needed.

1. Meet the Class 12 requirements and obtain a valid JEE Main or CUET UG score.
2. Use the entrance rank to participate in MP DOTE online counselling if applying with MP domicile. Non-domicile applicants may apply directly to AGI.
3. Complete the seat-allotment stage through the applicable admission route.
4. Have the required documents verified.
5. Pay the fee and complete admission confirmation.

Joining the MBA at AFMR or AIMSR

AFMR and AIMSR run MBA programmes affiliated to DAVV, Indore. Both use entrance scores for selection and accept CAT, MAT, CMAT and ATMA. A graduate from any discipline can apply with at least 50% marks; the minimum is 45% for SC/ST applicants.

1. Check the graduation requirement and obtain a valid score in CAT, MAT, CMAT or ATMA.
2. Apply for consideration in the entrance-score shortlist.
3. Attend the Group Discussion and Personal Interview stages.
4. Complete document verification and confirm admission.

Law Courses at AIL

AIL admits students to its 5-year BA LLB and BBA LLB programmes and its 3-year LLB through CLAT or LSAT India scores.

• For BA LLB and BBA LLB, applicants need at least 45% in Class 12 and a valid CLAT score.
• For the 3-year LLB, applicants need a graduation degree with at least 45% and a valid CLAT score.

Entry to Pharmacy and Other Courses

At AIPER, B.Pharm and M.Pharm selection uses MP PAT, described as the Madhya Pradesh Pre-Pharmacy Test, or GPAT scores. For BCA, B.Com, BA, B.Sc and B.Des, students can enter through CUET UG or direct merit selection using Class 12 marks from a recognised board.

Campus hiring for engineering and management graduates across AGI is coordinated by AITR's placement cell. In 2024, AITR's highest campus offer reached INR 32 LPA, meaning INR 32 lakhs per year. Its median package was INR 4.5 LPA, and 574 students found placements. The previous batch had 345 placed students.

Recruiters include IMPETUS, Cognizant, IBM, Deloitte, Hexaware and Capgemini. Technology and IT services companies account for most recruiters hiring B.Tech graduates in CSE, AI and ML, and Data Science. For management students at AFMR and AIMSR, common hiring sectors are banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI), fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), and retail.

AIPER graduates enter pharmaceutical research and development, quality assurance, hospital pharmacy and regulatory affairs, which involves meeting rules for medicines. Fresh B.Pharm graduates typically start at INR 2.5 LPA to INR 4 LPA.

AGI brings its five institutes together at Manglia Square on Bypass Road, Indore. The 10-acre site lies 12 km from the city centre and can be reached through the AB Road bypass. Male and female students have separate hostel blocks within the campus.

Facilities are arranged for different subjects: a CSE complex with several laboratories, ECE laboratories, a pharmacy research block, and dedicated research and computing labs. Law students use a moot court for practice hearings, while B.Des students have a design studio. The central library stocks more than 50,000 volumes.

Students can use a gymnasium, cricket ground, and basketball and volleyball courts. Colleges from across Madhya Pradesh participate in AGI's annual technical and cultural festivals.

Financial support at AGI considers both academic merit and financial need across all five institutes. During the 2019 academic year, 650 students received scholarships with a combined value exceeding INR 38.85 Lakhs.

Madhya Pradesh students can also seek state government support through the MP Scholarship 2.0 portal. Registration usually closes in November each year.
