life at Jagran Lakecity University Bhopal

What I Liked

I love the infrastructure. it's well maintained and aesthetically pleasing. the pyramid shaped library is the heart of jlu. our college is located in the outskirts which provides a serene view of the nearby hills and lush green trees.
it also offers a vibrant social and cultural life. fests, events and competitions keep taking place frequently and student societies are generally active.

What I didn’t like

the placements are abysmal. students hardly get placed despite their efforts and mostly have to rely on their personal connections.
the fee structure is on the higher end, making it unaffordable to a lot of students.

Placement Experience:

the placements are not that good. students have to rely on off campus placements and personal connections. most students pursuing law aim for judiciary exam, upsc or litigation. the average placements in law are 3-4 lpa and recruiting firms are mostly tier 3 firms.

Internships Opportunities:

personally, I haven't done any internship yet but our college helps students fetching internships at district court, NGO's and various law firms. students get stipend based on their work experience and the type of internship. students can intern under various ministries, state commission, NGT, NHRC etc
