The reality check of( Bajmc) couse in sharda university

What I Liked

I liked it's beautiful infrastructure with very spacious campus and huge building with places to hangout such as cafeteria, nice view and a green gardens which makes the university look really beautiful, calm and peaceful.
It's consists of large lab with all working computers with comfortable seats and ac room with most of the computer having features like free adobe priemre pro , quark express and even faculty of lab classes are really helpful and they help us with the computer works and completing assignment

What I didn’t like

Some of the faculty are worst as they dont really help us with our doubts about studies or assignment and even they sometimes teaches nothing .
The attendance criteria as it is of 75% we need to strictly Attend the classes as because if the criteria doesn't fulfill we can't give exam and we get debated from the exam

Placement Experience:

There are no such placement you need to do it by yourself. Yeah some of them gives placement in campus but not that satisfactory. They say they have tide up with news channel like ABP news and Zee news but again not sure that actually they have given placement to our seniors and pass out or not because every time we ask about placement many disappointed are seen in the face of seniors . All they basically do is they give us degree so that we can use it to get jobs outside the campus and even in 3rd year we have to do intership also which is basically not given through university but we have to search it through ourself online or offline too . Placement rate is only 2-3 % not more than that but still for the sake of degree we have to continue the course and do everything by ourselves. From intership to searching for a better job . So it's like in 3rd year you need to search intership by your own inorder to get job and to know about the job properly before performing any task or work .

Internships Opportunities:

No . Yet I have not opted for any intership because I can't search paid intership till know and I am still searching for a good intership inorder to get a work certificate for my portfolio so that I can make my portfolio to look more skillful and to attract big news channel to give me job .

The Truth About Film Degree in Sharda University 2025

What I Liked

The campus is huge and provides a good and healthy competition for students.
The studios are filled with industry-level equipment for the students to practice.

What I didn’t like

The academic structure of the university. The first year is a complete and utter waste in terms of degree.
Attendance criteria are strict and rigid.

Placement Experience:

As I'm still in my second year I am not that aware of the placement in the course. The university provides options to choose and do your internship in the final semester of the college. My plans after getting this degree are to work in the field of filmmaking particularly in the field of cinematography and lighting.

Internships Opportunities:

There are no internship opportunities in this course as of the fifth semester. The course makes us make a few documentaries and short films as final projects that can add in the CV and enhance it. Outside the campus internship opportunities are available.

LIFE AT SHARDA UNIVERSITY CAMPUS

What I Liked

I really like the infrastructure of the University if you are looking for a change & to get into different seperate world then its Sharda University, its campus life is just amazing and you planning to be a content creator then its the best location you can find for your videos, even big productions house come there to shoot there movies and web series.
And you will have a different social life in the university itself and you will get a lot if interaction from around the world, like students from Afghanistan nepal and nigeria.

What I didn’t like

It was the parking area we use to pay for parking our vehicles and the hospital is connected to the university so there is no disliking in that because you get to interact with the nursing girls too 😉
Something i didnt liked about the university was it doesn't have a smoking area inside the campus 🚬🚭. You have to go outside the campus to smoke up 😯

Placement Experience:

Criteria for placement does not depends on your marks, basically it depends on your skills. So develop as much skills you can develop in the practicals during the class room training. Few recruiters among them were Wipro, red fm , tcs and other big mnc's. Highest & average package was 10 lac per year and there were profiles like digital content creator that was offered. 50% of students gets the placement very easily.

Internships Opportunities:

I worked at the sharda fm, Sharda University has its own fm located in the university only. I was use to conduct programs morning & night ones on a specific time and you will also get chance to work in different news channel lime star news & Abvp

What I Liked

The college cafeteria and cafes and sports complex
The library and clubs is very good in this university

What I didn’t like

Some faculties are not that good they don't teach professional
The local politics is not good in this university

Placement Experience:

Yes they'll provide campus placement and internship in media field because in Noida there is Film City also there tie up with many media houses and they'll give you practical project and assignments that increase your skills

Internships Opportunities:

Yes they'll provide internship in various media houses there is one whole semester for doing internship I've done internship in News 18 as a content writer it's so good because the work experience is so good

The world is here at Sharda University

What I Liked

Infrastructure is very good ofcourse the cafe's and canteens is best
Campus life and faculties are best that I got in this college

What I didn’t like

Yeah some faculty is not that much good and it's my personal opinion
In Summers the campus is too hot to go there

Placement Experience:

In my course there are also a placement and job opportunities not in after completing my degree in my semester break we can do internships and after 5 semesters there is one whole semester for internship so yes they provide good opportunities

Yes, I'm doing an internship in Paps that is India's first policy media house and this is in Sharda Launchpad they offer me the role of vertical head for their company and I love to do this work at sharda University itself
