Kurukshetra University is situated at Kurukshetra city in Haryana. It has been awarded A+ grade by NAAC and is listed in Category-I under UGC. The DDE provides all the services to students through digital mode to facilitate distant learners.

DDE Kurukshetra offers more than 40 traditional and professional courses. It offers various UG, PG, Diploma, PG Diploma, and certificate courses. Some of the courses available are BBA, BCA, B.Ed, BA, MA, M.Sc, MCA, M.Com, MBA, etc. Admission to these courses is totally based on the merit in the last qualifying examination. DDE KUK Admission 2022

In distance mode of Kurukshetra university the admission happens in 2 sessions: January session and July session. This admission process is conducted in both online and offline mode. Candidates are required to apply before the last date of submission. Both online and processes are described below.

How to Apply?

For online admission

The Directorate of Distance Education offers online admission facility through official website https://www.ddekuk.ac.in/

Fill out the application form and submit it with a processing fee of Rs. 600/- for Gen candidates and Rs.150/- for SC/BC/EBPG/PWD Candidates of Haryana only.

For offline admission

Download the application form from the official website of DDE Kurukshetra.

Fill out Admission Form, Examination form and Computer forms and send it to the Director, Directorate of Distance Education, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra-136119(Haryana) along with all required documents and fee through Demand Draft drawn in favor of Registrar, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra)

Processing fee will be Rs. 800/- for General and Rs.200/- for SC/BC/EBPG/PWD Candidates of Haryana only.

DDE KUK Placement

There is also a placement cell created which helps students to get placement. However, Students are also encouraged to apply for off campus placements.

  • Under the ‘Shikshit Beti’ Scheme, girls with more than 70% in 10+2 will get 25% concession in fee for the admission in BA course.
  • Blind students of Haryana are granted Full Tuition Fee Concession

Ans: Yes, this can be done but this is done for a short period of time so students are requested to follow the website

Ans. Yes all boards are eligible including NIOS which are recognized by the Government of India and UGC.

Que. Is Kurukshetra University very tough?

Ans. It is quite tough in terms of question standards. But one can easily earn good marks by practicing previous year questions.
