BUDDE MBA Admission 2024

MBA is one of the most popular distance education courses offered by the University of Burdwan through Distance mode. The course witnesses the most number of applications every year. Admission to the course is conducted on the basis of marks scored in all India entrance exams such as CAT/MAT/XAT.

BUDDE MBA Eligibility Criteria

• The candidates are required to have valid scores in CAT/MAT/XAT examinations.
• A Graduation degree with relevant marks from a recognized university is mandatory.
• Candidates who have not appeared for any of the All India Entrance Examinations will have to attempt the university entrance test.

BUDDE MBA Selection Criteria

• Candidates are first shortlisted on the basis of entrance exam scores CAT/XAT/MAT or entrance exam conducted by the university.
• The shortlisted candidates are further called for the group discussion and personal interview round.
• The final selection is made considering the three parameters that are exam scores (200 scores), performance in GD (100 scores), and performance in PI (100 scores).

BUDDE MA Admission 2024

The distance program at the University of Burdwan offers MA in six different specializations namely- English, Hindi, Philosophy, Bengali, Political Science, and History. The program lasts for the duration of two years.

BUDDE MA Eligibility Criteria

• A graduation degree from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks is the mandatory eligibility criteria. OR
• A three-year diploma in a relevant discipline from a recognized university with an aggregate score of 45% marks is also acceptable.

BUDDE MA Selection Criteria

Admission to the MA program is based on the marks scored by the candidate in their previous qualifying exam. Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of the merit list prepared on the basis of their graduation scores.

BUDDE PG Admission 2024

The University of Burdwan under their distance education program offers various other post-graduation courses. These courses are offered for a duration of two years. Tabulated below are the details of such PG courses:

BUDDE PG Eligibility Criteria

• For admission to M.Com, candidates must have a minimum 2nd class Hons (regular or special) in commerce. Candidates should have pursued the course in a 10+2+3 pattern from a recognized university with 40% aggregate marks.
• For admissions to M.Sc computer science, candidates must have passed B.Sc Hons. (Computer Science)/ BCA/B.E. The candidates who have pursued a B.Sc (Hons) in Mathematics/Statistics/Economics with computer science as one of the core subjects are also eligible to apply.
• For admissions to M.Sc Mathematics, candidates must be a BA/B.Sc graduate with mathematics as an elective or combination subject. Candidates should have pursued the course in a 10+2+3 pattern from a recognized university with 40% aggregate marks.

BUDDE PG Selection Criteria

For M.Sc Computer Science, M.Com, and M.Sc Mathematics, candidates are shortlisted based on the merit list. The merit list is prepared on the basis of the marks scored by the candidates in the previous qualifying examination. Shortlisted candidates are called for the further counseling process.

BUDDE B.Ed. Admission 2024

Under the undergraduate program category, the university offers admissions only in the B.Ed course.

BUDDE B.Ed. Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates should have completed their graduation in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks.
• Eligible candidates have to produce certificates for NCTE recognized teacher education programs.

BUDDE B.Ed. Selection Criteria

Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of the merit list prepared on the basis of their graduation scores.
