What I Liked

Teachers are very nice in behaviour to students
They bring us to visit and trips to colleges and company

What I didn’t like

There are no lab equipments are available in college
There are no any hangout places for students

Placement Experience:

Placements and job opportunities are available in our college there are some companies like Tata Bajaj they are come to our college and higher students in their eligibility process it is very simple get higher marks passed interview and get job the highest package is 8 lakh per annum

Internships Opportunities:

Yeah I obtain the internship in ST bus report in our college and in this college we can do intership every semester it is nice because it is get her getting help to learn something activities and knowledge is brings

Review of the new Government Engineering College of Ratnagiri

What I Liked

The Environment/climate of the college campus is pleasant most of the times one can experience all the seasons in their full swing by staying in the campus itself
I like the overall affordibility of the college and all the different types of scholorships it provides to the students
I also like the subjects/ course contents included in the curriculum , it offers various important subjects which are needed to be studied in order to understand a field of study from various different angles.

What I didn’t like

I dislike the teaching methedology employed to teach students about various subjects , many a times it includes practical subjects but are taught in a very theoretical and non practical manner.
constant postponing of exams and delayed results which in turn affects the calender year for the next semester.

Placement Experience:

The college is newly built and hence so far the first batch is yet to pass out , however based on senior reviews the college currently does not offer placements and most of the people are trying off-campus or aiming for higher studies in a college which does offer placements . My plan is also a bit similar to try to pursue higher education but if I am able to secure a good enough job after graduating either through any in campus placement companies or by trying off-campus then i would drop the idea of higher studies or pursue it after some time. Even if the college does get companies to offer placements for students it will have certain conditions for the students to be able to sit in the interviews such as maintaing a good cgpa and possessing good technical knowledge.

Internships Opportunities:

The internship completed by me was not an internship provided by the college, we found a site which offers online internships for the students and provide internship certificates which students can showcase at the end of their semester. However it cannot be considered an internship in the true sense , to actually complete an internship you have to yourself search for one and take permission from the college so as to complete the internship in the stipulated time.

What I Liked

Faculties of my college are very friendly they not only help you with academis but also with extra curricular
Campus is near beach so it's a great thing which helps student to relax after hectic lectures

What I didn’t like

Infrastructure is average still in development so it's one of thing I don't like about my college
Cultural fest of my college is one of most disliked thing in my college

Placement Experience:

The eligibility criteria for placement is student should be all clear i.e no backlogs and a respectable cgpa that can be of 7 or above, my plan is of doing further studies excelling more in this course as much I can.

Internships Opportunities:

Yes in 3rd semester, I was doing 4 weeks internship in INENSY company located in Vasai, Maharashtra. The production of this company is Electrical switches used in automobile like car, tractor, bikes etc.

GOVERNMENT COLLEGE IN MAHARASTRA

What I Liked

Mostly the Campus Life here is good if you live in hostel the food courts etc are awesome
All Facilities are mostly PhD and qualified they help you a lot not just the academics but overall in other aspects as well as extra curricular activities

What I didn’t like

Lecture timing most of the days lectures start off from 9 in morning and can go upto to 5 pm students who not live near the college sometimes finds it difficult to travel and get fatigue
Infrastructure is average still in maintanence and yet to be constructed

Placement Experience:

Placements and Internship opportunities are decent it's still a very new college but companies like finolex and many other big companies visited the campus along with Mncs and Government Companies, mostly all the students from second year onwards go for different kinds of Internships within or outside the city or Country

Internships Opportunities:

No I am in my first year of Engineering but many of my friend's in the college who are in second year or above have had internships in government companies and the stipend is handsome it mostly ranges from 10 k to 50 k

What I Liked

as i mentioned earlier the prefix "government" is reason of the majority
faculty and seniors relations are at a positve note ... cooperation is appreciated

What I didn’t like

single building... new building is under construction
minimum space classroom ... that has to be compromised after every lecture

networking or internship opportunities may be or free lancing and i have my personal projects to work on to make my linked profile better and maintain a good record to get better future opportunities in future

What I Liked

I loved the whole old staff who used to work there when the institute was established. Now New staff has arrived and the old ones got transferred to another college.
The new infrastructure of college is too good. They've built a new building and named the college after Late Lokenete Shamrao Peje.

What I didn’t like

They don't conduct lectures or practicals pn regular basis. Things do not happen according to academic calendar.
Visiting faculties are not that good, their behaviour is not that good.

Placement Experience:

We're the first batch of our institute so we don't know if there are any campus placement drives or not. So can't say anything about employability from the institute. We have to try off campus drives or placements for the job search.

Internships Opportunities:

College haven't offered any internship, students have to find one on their own. I'm now working in Pacematic technologies Pvt Ltd. as a Generative AI intern. I'm working without any stipend right now.

Struggle of college

What I Liked

Our college campus is small but it's upgrading to the big size and shape.
Faculty are best and well experienced. They provide form karad . They are friendly with students.

What I didn’t like

Small campus. Not availability of textbook as per subject.
Academic calendar is different then other colleges. No idea about placements in college.

Placement Experience:

No Idea of placement. But it would be great and high packages, let's see at that time And about the internship Minimum of 5 company internships will be done by me. And one more will be done after 6 months. Form college structure 6 is compulsory. It can be done more than 6 it depends on us.

Internships Opportunities:

About the internship Minimum 6 company internships visited me and one more, will be for six months. After 7 sem this will be done college also provides internships out of the city and at high-level companies. All are dependent upon mi how much and where it should be done.

If you want any government college then choose it

What I Liked

Faculty is well educated and campus environment is good
The campus is away from seashore about 2/3 km.

What I didn’t like

Some visiting facultys are provided by college
The new academic building in under construction so labs are absent

Placement Experience:

This college was established in 2021 the pass out 1st batch in 2025. So this year the campus interviews are available hope so. The college signs an MOU with Skill India to prepare students for interview and upgrade their skills

Internships Opportunities:

In electrical engineering branch the kokan railway provides internship for this year and also the RCFL Chembur provides an internship. Also, colleges help to student admit in other companies for internships by giving letters or contacts.

Know before you admit in college

Placement Experience:

As our college was established in back 2 years ago so there was no experience of campus for the college. But faculty of the college and training placement department show initiative and make efforts to bring many more companies for campus selection. For the technical department, they also provided internship opportunities. And for the core branch, they are conducting Site Training programs with reports. Mostly students are aiming for competitive exams as a plan after completion of their degree.

What I Liked

Campus is shared between Gov. Polytechnic, Pharmacy and Engineering college. Campus is big.
Our Engineering college is building but new college building is big and consist of many classrooms, labs for various departments. And new college infrastructure and structure is very good and beautiful.

What I didn’t like

Faculty is supportive and inspiring and encouraging students for new things to do
Campus is good, which consist of Polytechnic, Pharmacy and engineering college.

Placement Experience:

I am in Third Year and my batch will be the first batch which will get degree from this college, So I can't tell about placements right now. But As it is a government college we can assume that there will be a good placements
