DBS Global University Admission Dates 2026-27

The 2026-27 admission process has ended across all programmes. The next MBA intake will use CAT 2026, followed by the university's GD and PI rounds. JEE Main 2027 will be considered for B.Tech admission in the 2027-28 cycle.

Admission routes vary by programme. BBA, BCA, B.Com, and BA normally follow rolling admission through the university admission portal, with selection based on CUET UG, Class 12 merit, or the university's direct route. Pharmacy admission is entrance-based or merit-based, and applicants can contact the DBS Pharmacy School for details of the relevant cycle. The university conducts its institute-level Ph.D entrance examination twice each year.

For undergraduate law courses, students may use CLAT UG or seek direct admission to BA LLB and BBA LLB through DBS.

The five-year integrated B.Tech + MBA course costs INR 2,13,500 per year. Students choosing the five-year BBA + MBA pathway pay INR 1,86,500 annually. Certificate courses in IT, finance, marketing, and languages are priced at INR 15,000 each. Applications for every programme are managed through the DBS Global University admission portal.

DBS Global University Admission Process

Admission at DBS Global University may depend on an entrance score, qualifying-examination marks, or a university-level test. Applicants use the university admission portal, meet the course-specific eligibility conditions, and complete any selection stages required for their programme.

MBA Admission Process

Doon Business School is the university's main management school. MBA applicants must have a valid CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, or DBS MBA Entrance Test score. Shortlisted students attend a Group Discussion and Personal Interview at the DBS campus. Those completing the final year of their bachelor's degree may submit a provisional application.

• Complete a bachelor's degree from a recognised university with at least 50% aggregate.

• Take part in the GD and PI after shortlisting.
• Receive final selection based on the entrance score, academic record, and GD/PI performance.
• Choose from specialisations such as Finance, Marketing, HR, Business Analytics, Fintech, International Business, Digital Marketing, Luxury Management, Health Management, and others.

B.Tech Admission Process

The Doon School of Advanced Computing primarily selects B.Tech students using JEE Main scores. CUET UG and the DBS direct entrance test provide additional admission routes.

• Pass Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics, along with Chemistry, Computer Science, or Biotechnology, and secure at least 50% aggregate.
• Apply with a JEE Main percentile, CUET UG score, or DBS direct test result.
• Select CSE, AI, or CSE with AI and ML as the branch of study.

UG Programmes (BBA, BCA, B.Com, BA, B.Sc)

Class 12 marks, CUET UG scores, and the DBS direct application are used for most undergraduate admissions. The usual minimum is 50% in Class 12, reduced to 45% for reserved categories. These programmes normally follow rolling admission through the university portal. BA LLB and BBA LLB applicants may use CLAT or the DBS direct admission route.

DBS Global University Placements

The university's placement cell arranges campus recruitment for students from management, engineering, media, law, and other schools. During the 2025-26 season, more than 350 companies took part. The reported highest salary was INR 40 LPA, while the average stood at INR 8.7 LPA.

Doon Business School produces the strongest placement results within the university. Its management programmes are supported by AACSB accreditation and corporate connections. B.Tech students enter software and analytics positions, while graduates of media and film programmes at the Doon School of Media and Design work in broadcasting, digital content, and production houses.

DBS Global University Scholarships
