Ques. What are TISS-PAT and OPI?

Ans. The Program Aptitude Test (PAT) and Online Personal Interview (OPI), the second and third steps of the admissions process at Tata Institute of Social Science, respectively (TISS). Students who passed the TISS-NET examination are eligible for these phases. A 45-minute program-specific test is called the TISS-PAT. OPI is the last stage in the admissions procedure. The candidate shows up for an OPI face-to-face interview.

Ques. Is there an offline application process for Delhi University's MSW programme?

Ans. No, only the online application process is available at Delhi University. Candidates are required to appear in the entrance exam for the MSW admission.

Ques. How is the TISS-NET test administered to MSW candidates?

Ans. The TISS-NET test consists of a total of 100 questions. There are 30 problems in arithmetic & logic, 40 in English, and 40 general knowledge questions.

Ques. In the TISS-NET and DUET tests for MSW, is there a negative grading system?

Ans. There is no negative marking on the TISS-NET test. But DUET employs a negative assessment strategy. The correct response receives four points after each wrong response has one point deducted.

Ques. Are there any MSW Online programs available for those without a BSW?

Ans. Yes, the vast majority of online MSW programmes provide conventional standing courses for students without a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW).

Although a BSW is not necessary for most programmes, a bachelor's degree from an authorized university is. For students who have successfully completed a BSW from an undergraduate school approved by the CSWE, online MSW programmes with advanced standing tracks are available (other restrictions may apply).
