AEEE 2027: Exam Dates, Registration, Eligibility, Pattern and Counselling

AEEE 2027 will be held from April 15 to May 7, 2027. Registration for BTech admission will begin in November 2026. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has not announced the exact application date, last date or phase-wise exam schedule.
AEEE is a national-level computer-based exam for BTech admission at Amrita. Students can apply with an AEEE rank, a JEE Main percentile or both. The detailed 2027 eligibility rules, application fee and counselling dates will be available with the new admission documents. The application will open on the AEEE admission website in November.

What is AEEE?
Amrita Entrance Examination - Engineering is the university's entrance test for BTech admission. AEEE 2027 will be conducted as a computer-based test in more than 100 cities. The paper is in English and lasts 150 minutes.
An AEEE rank is not the only way to apply. Amrita also accepts a JEE Main percentile for BTech admission. Students may use either score or enter both, and eligible candidates then take part in the Centralised Seat Allotment Process.

The exam window and registration month are available. The university has not yet given separate test dates, a last date to apply, slot-booking dates, admit-card dates or the result date.

AEEE was conducted in two phases in 2026. Amrita has not confirmed the same phase structure for 2027, so the April 15 to May 7 window should not be split into assumed Phase 1 and Phase 2 dates.
AEEE 2027 Application Form
The AEEE 2027 application form is due in November 2026. Registration will be online. The application link, last date, fee and correction rules have not been announced.
How to apply for AEEE 2027
The detailed steps will be confirmed when the form opens. The 2026 application started with name, mobile number, email, state and city, followed by mobile verification. The form also asked for personal and Class 12 details, a photograph, signature and exam-city choices.
- Register with a working mobile number and email address.
- Complete the personal and academic details.
- Upload the photograph, signature and any documents requested for 2027.
- Choose the AEEE or JEE Main admission option and enter exam-city preferences when asked.
- Pay the fee and save the completed form.
In 2026, the candidate's name and parents' names had to match the Class 10 certificate. The form was treated as complete only after successful payment. The 2027 form instructions will show whether these rules remain unchanged.
AEEE 2027 application fee
The 2027 application fee is not out. In 2026, the fee depended on whether a student applied through AEEE, JEE Main or both.

AEEE Eligibility Criteria 2027
Students appearing for Class 12 or an equivalent exam in 2027 can register, subject to the final eligibility rules. Amrita has not released the 2027 minimum marks, date-of-birth rule or complete list of accepted qualifying exams.
AEEE 2027 Class 12 marks
The 2027 PCM aggregate is not confirmed. As per the official AEEE website, the 2026 requirement was 55% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The 2026 admission rules mentioned 60%. Both required at least 50% separately in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Age and qualifying exam
The 2027 date-of-birth cutoff has not been announced. In 2026, candidates had to be born on or after July 1, 2005. The accepted qualifications included recognised Central or State Board Class 12 exams, two-year pre-university or intermediate exams, GCE Advanced Level, International Baccalaureate Diploma and NIOS Senior Secondary with at least five subjects.
Students appearing for the qualifying exam could apply in 2026, but they had to submit the required marksheets and certificates during admission. Students appearing in 2027 may also apply; the new rules will confirm the marks and age conditions.
AEEE 2027 Exam Pattern
AEEE 2027 will be an English-language computer-based test lasting 2 hours 30 minutes. It will include multiple-choice questions from Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Quantitative Aptitude and English. Amrita has not yet released a separate 2027 question-distribution table.
The 2026 paper had 100 questions for 300 marks. Mathematics made up 40% of the questions, while Physics and Chemistry together accounted for another 45%. The remaining 15 questions came from Quantitative Aptitude and English.

AEEE 2027 marking scheme
The 2027 marking scheme is not separately published. In 2026, a correct answer earned 3 marks, a wrong answer lost 1 mark and an unanswered question received 0. All questions had four options, and an answer could be changed before final submission.

AEEE 2027 Syllabus
The detailed 2027 syllabus is not out. The 2026 paper used Class 11 and Class 12 topics. Its Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry coverage was broader than a short chapter list, while English covered basic grammar and vocabulary.

AEEE 2027 Slot Booking and Admit Card
The AEEE 2027 slot-booking and admit-card dates are not announced. Slot booking is expected to open after registration for eligible applicants. The available exam date, time and centre options will depend on the 2027 booking rules and seat availability.
In 2026, candidates selected preferred dates and the allotment was completed online. The admit card was generated only after the application and slot booking were complete. Aadhaar verification was required before download, and the card showed the candidate's name, registration number, exam date and centre address.
The admit card does not by itself confirm admission eligibility. Marksheets and other eligibility documents are checked during the admission process.
AEEE 2027 Result
The AEEE 2027 result date is not out. Results are published through the admission portal, followed by the AEEE rank used for CSAP registration and seat allotment.
In 2026, performance was shown as a percentile after each phase, and the better percentile was used for the final rank when a candidate appeared in both phases. Amrita has not yet confirmed separate phases or the same best-percentile rule for 2027.
AEEE 2027 Counselling Process
BTech seats are allotted through the Centralised Seat Allotment Process, or CSAP. Candidates with an AEEE rank or a JEE Main percentile can register after the result and rank details are available. The 2027 CSAP dates, fee and round schedule are not announced.
The 2026 process was fully online. Candidates entered Class 12 marks, uploaded the required marksheet or scorecard and arranged campus-and-branch choices in order of preference. A trial allotment gave time to review those choices before the main allotment rounds.

As per the official 2026 CSAP details, there were three main allotment rounds: first allotment, second allotment and mop-up. The 2027 round structure may change.
AEEE 2027 Cutoff
Amrita does not publish one fixed AEEE rank or JEE Main percentile that guarantees a seat. Eligible candidates can register for CSAP, but the allotment changes with the branch, campus, rank or percentile, submitted preferences, fee slab and available seats.
This means an expected cutoff table cannot be treated as an official admission rule. The useful figure is the closing position for a specific campus, branch, fee slab and allotment round, when that information is released for the current cycle.
AEEE 2027 Scholarships
BTech scholarship seats are linked to AEEE rank or JEE Main performance during CSAP. The fee slab can differ by rank or percentile, branch, campus, seat availability and the number of applicants. A fixed rank range does not guarantee the same scholarship slab every year.
In 2026, more than 70% of seats were kept in scholarship categories. The 2027 scholarship seat share, fee slabs and renewal rules are not yet published.

AEEE and JEE Main scores are used for BTech admission across eight Amrita engineering campuses. Branches differ by campus, so a choice in CSAP is a combination of both campus and programme.
