What's New In MET 2025?
Manipal University is conducting the MET 2025 counselling process for B.Tech courses. The counselling for BTech/UG Allied Health/M.Pharm is ongoing on the official website – counseling.manipal.edu. Round 1 registration and choice filling is open from June 2 to June 7, 2025. Candidates must register online with their application number and password.
- MET 2025 round 1 seat allotment result will be released on June 9, 2025 after 8 PM.
MET 2025 is considered to be less difficult in comparison to engineering entrances like JEE Main and JEE Advanced. Thus, candidates with a score of 180 out of a total of 240 are considered good.
What is MET?
MET 2025 is a university-level entrance exam conducted by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) annually for admitting candidates to various UG and PG degree programs at the university.

How To Do MET Exam Registration?
To do the MET registration 2025, go to the official website and fill in the required details, upload your photograph, and signature and pay the registration fees online. Without the payment of the MET registration fee, the application form cannot be submitted.
Note - No correction facility will be provided thus candidates are advised to be careful while filling out their information.

Points To Remember
- Only online submissions will be taken from candidates; all other methods will be rejected.
- A candidate's multiple application submissions will be dismissed.
- To receive all the necessary information via SMS or mail ID, a working email address and cell number are required.
- Candidates must submit their clear passport photo and signature in JPG or JPEG format.
- The application cost cannot be submitted by money order, check, pay order, IPO, etc.
- To prevent your application rejected, it must be fully completed.
- Make several photocopies of the completed registration form and preserve them properly.
- Candidates are advised not to submit a xerox of their completed online application or their receipt for payment of the application fee to the conducting body's office.
What Is MET Eligibility Criteria?
Given below are the details of MET eligibility criteria.
For B.Tech. Course:
- Qualification: From any recognized board, candidates must have qualified class 10+2 level or its equivalent exam.
- Subjects: In the qualifying exam, candidates must pass with Physics, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects.
- Marks: At least 50% marks in class 12th level to be eligible.
- Appearing: Candidates appearing in class 12th level will also be eligible to apply for the exam.
For M.Tech. Course:
- Qualification: Those graduated candidates in Tech/ BE from any recognized university/ institute will be eligible to apply.
- Marks: 50% marks aggregate marks in the qualifying exam will be eligible to apply.
- Scorecard: Qualified candidates in the GATE exam will also be eligible to apply.
For MBA Course:
- Qualification: Applicants must have qualified with a bachelor’s degree in any stream from any recognized institute to apply.
- Marks: Candidates must have qualified 50% aggregate marks.
- Scorecard: Aspirants with a valid scorecard of MAT/ XAT/ CAT or CMAT will also be eligible to apply.

MET Admit Card
The MET admit card will be issued following successful slot booking. It will include information such as the name and location of the exam centre, the date and time of the exam, and a paper with candidate information such as names, photographs, and signatures.
MET Answer Key
Candidates will be able to determine their probable scores by using the MET answer key. To calculate their scores, download the answer key and compare your exam replies with the right answers. Determine the total number of right and incorrect responses.
