MET Cutoff 2027: Manipal, Bengaluru, Jaipur and Sikkim Closing Ranks

MET 2027 cutoff ranks are not out yet. The latest official branch-wise list is for BTech common counselling 2026 Round 5. It shows the last rank admitted to each branch and campus in that round.
In Round 5, CSE closed at 5,044 at MIT Manipal, 12,890 at MIT Bengaluru, 38,794 at Manipal University Jaipur and 55,828 at Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology. These figures come from the official cutoff PDF.

MET Cutoff 2027 Status
MAHE will publish 2027 closing ranks after counselling starts and seats are allotted. Until then, any exact 2027 branch cutoff is only a guess. The tables below use the official 2026 Round 5 list.

How to Read the MET Cutoff
The closing rank is the last rank admitted to a branch at a campus in a particular round. Rank 4,800 is ahead of a closing rank of 5,044. Rank 6,000 is behind it.
A past cutoff is not a seat offer. Admission also depends on eligibility, counselling registration, saved choices, vacancies and fee payment. A MET score out of 240 cannot be compared directly with a closing rank.

CSE closed at 38,794. Electronics Engineering with VLSI Design and Technology closed at 41,189, while Civil Engineering closed at 42,768. Some Round 5 entries remained unchanged from Round 4.

All six SMIT entries in the official Round 5 table kept the same closing rank as Round 4. The counselling note says vacancies were filled through upgrades and fresh registrations without changing these closing ranks.
MET Dual-Degree Cutoffs
A dual-degree option is different from the ordinary four-year BTech course. It can include study at a partner university outside India, a different fee structure and rules that do not apply to the regular branch.

The official counselling brochure said that the Macquarie Civil and Deakin Mechanical routes required two years at MIT Manipal followed by two years at the partner university. Students in the listed dual-degree routes could not use the 2026 intra-institute round.
What Happens After Seat Allotment
A rank within an earlier cutoff does not complete admission. The student must register for counselling, save choices, receive an allotment and pay within the given time.

The first instalment was not the full BTech fee. Missing the payment deadline meant losing the allotted seat and the waitlist deposit. MAHE may change the amounts and dates for 2027.

No. MAHE has not released the 2027 branch-wise closing ranks. The latest branch-wise ranks are from 2026 Round 5.
Can I get MIT Manipal CSE at rank 6,000? +
MIT Manipal CSE closed at 5,044 in 2026 Round 5, so rank 6,000 was behind that cutoff. The 2027 closing rank can be different.
Is a smaller MET rank better? +
Yes. Rank 4,800 is ahead of rank 5,044. A smaller rank number gives a stronger position.
Are MET marks and cutoff rank the same? +
No. Marks come from the paper. The merit list gives the rank used during counselling.
Can I compare a JEE Main rank with the MET cutoff table? +
No. MAHE publishes separate lists for MET and JEE Main. Compare your rank with the list for your admission route.
Does a rank within the cutoff guarantee admission? +
