Manipal Institute of Technology Bangalore (MIT), is a constituent unit of Manipal Academy of Higher Education(MAHE). MIT Bangalore started offering its flagship BTech programs in 2021. AICTE approves it. According to MIT Ranking, it was placed at 136th out of 166 engineering colleges by IIRF 2023.

MIT Bangalore offers BTech as its flagship program. To be eligible for admission, candidates need to secure 50% minimum marks in 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry, Biotechnology, or Biology from a recognized board. The selection will be based on the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) conducted by the Institute. A Merit list will be made with 50% weightage given to MET scores and 50% to the marks secured in 10+2. MIT Bangalore cutoff 2024 for MET for the general category Btech admission ranged from 5141-15450. The MIT fee for BTech is INR 19.58 lakhs for all specializations.

MIT Scholarships are provided to help deserving students financially. There is a Freeship, Scholar, and Achiever Scholarship for BTech students. To be eligible for this scholarship, students need to score at least 80% in 10+2 from a recognized board. Freeship is provided for students who secure a 1-100 rank in MET. For the Scholar category, students need to have ranks between 101 and 5000 in MET. For the Achiever Category, the top 5% of the general category intake are eligible and they are selected based on their academic performance in semesters.
