I had to go through MET, which is MANIPAL ENTERANCE TEST. Suitable rank categories secure the seat in the college. The college is good in terms of the infrastructure and the opportunities provided. But the cons being, the college is still under construction and probably will take around 3 -5 years to complete.
I feel that the course curriculum is a little tough for an average student but with a little hard-work its not impossible to crack. The teachers are good, they take their teaching seriously and clarifies the students' doubts at anytime required.
There are many internship opportunities provided. I personally have completed two internships, out of which one was through college. Name being CODSOFT. It was a data science internship. I was taught how to clean, visualize and extract data efficiently with python and the use of its libraries. I also had completed two graded projects which are movie review system and music matching system.
Since we are not eligible for placements yet, i don't know much about it. But most of my seniors were placed and heard it was pretty good. I think once they graduate from college, a full detailed placements review will be made public by college.
The first year tuition fees is approximately 3,45,000 and from 2nd year onwards, it is 5,09,000 till the end of course. There are two scholarships that are being offered, which depends on the cast and the cgpa of the student applying for it. There is an increase in the fees of my juniors and will probably increase for their juniors as well.
Fests are always being held. There are many libraries for different departments, there's also a very big university library being constructed which is as big as an office building. There are many sports competitions that take place for students as well as for the staff of my college. There are also different types of club that a student can join that matches his interest, for example there is a club called CINA which is for entertainment enthusiasts, there is a club called NEURA AI which is for AI enthusiasts, and the list goes on. Overall campus experience is pretty good.
I stayed in hostel in my first year, and as for my experience with the hostel, it was good. I liked the efforts made to ensure safety and security for the students, there was an ambulance at all times for any medical emergency in 2022. But now, the college has a clinic in the hostel itself making it easier for students with medical problems. The mess and the rooms provided were clean and tidy. I was in a 3 sharing room. It was quite spacious for 3 people to fit in. The washrooms were cleaned every alternate day.
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
