BCECE 2023 Marking Scheme
BCECE 2023 Question Paper consists of five sections- Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics/ Biology, and Agriculture. The total marks allotted for this entrance is 1200 distributed among 300 MCQ-type questions, each carrying 4 marks. For each correct attempt, 4 marks will be awarded to the candidate while 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect attempt.

BCECE 2023 Minimum Qualifying Marks
Candidates appearing for BCECE 2023 have to score a minimum qualifying mark to be called for the counseling process. The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board offers relaxation to reserved category candidates as per Govt. of India guidelines:
- As per prevailing practice, candidates must score a minimum of 50% of the maximum marks to get themselves enlisted in the rank list. However, if any change is proposed by the exam conducting authority the same would be made available on the official website.
- Candidates belonging to the reserved category including PH have to score a minimum of 40% of the maximum marks i.e. 480.
- On the other hand, candidates belonging to the General-PH category have to score a minimum qualifying mark of 40% i.e. 540 marks.
BCECE 2023 Subject Combination
As already mentioned in a previous section, BCECE would consist of five sections- Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics/ Biology, and Agriculture. Depending on their preference of course, candidates can select the subjects based on the following combination:

- PCMB- Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology

BCECE 2023 Exam Day Guidelines
Candidates appearing for BCECE 2023 should carefully read the following instructions for the exam day:
- Candidates must carry a printed copy of the Admit Card and any valid Photo Identity card (in original).
- Candidates should report to the examination center at least an hour before the commencement of the examination. No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam center once the examination starts.
- Tampering of the OMR sheet would lead to the disqualification of the candidate.
- Candidates are advised not to indulge in any type of argument with the invigilator in the exam center. This may also lead to the disqualification of the candidate.
- Candidates are advised not to indulge in any unethical activity for instance disturbing other candidates, adopting unfair means to answer questions, etc.
- Candidates are not permitted to carry calculators, mobile phones, or any other electronic device in the examination hall.
