CENTAC 2024 Eligibility Criteria
For the numerous courses that the university offers, distinct eligibility requirements apply. The eligibility requirements for the various classes are listed below for interested candidates to review.
- Domicile: A domicile document is required of applicants who are from Puducherry, a Union Territory.
- Nationality: All applicants who are citizens of India are eligible to apply for CENTAC.
- Age Criteria: A candidate must be 17 years old to be considered for admission to the MBBS, BDS, BAMS, B.Sc., B.V.Sc., and BPT programs.
- The lower age limit for BAMS is 17 Years (as of 1st October 2024).
- The upper age limit for B.Tech is 21 years (as of 1st July 2024). There are three years of relaxation for SC Candidates.

CENTAC Eligibility For Stray Vacancy Round
- Candidates already admitted in Round 3 (or in Round 1 and 2) under All India or State Quota are not eligible.
- Candidates who were allotted a seat in Round 3 or any Stray round but did not join are also ineligible.
CENTAC Eligibility For B.Tech Course
- Qualifying Exam: Pass 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
- Subjects: Qualify the 10+2 examination with Physics & Mathematics along with one of the given subjects: Chemistry/Biology/Bio-Technology/Computer Science.
- Minimum Marks: Secure a minimum of 45% marks (40% marks in case of reserved category).
- Attempts: For SC, three attempts application & for others, only two attempts.
CENTAC Eligibility For B.Pharm Course
- Qualifying Exam: Qualify the 12th or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
- Subjects: Pass the above examination with Physics & Chemistry along with one of the given subjects: Mathematics /Biology/Bio-Technology/Computer Science.
- Minimum Marks: Score at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of reserved category).
- Attempts: There are no attempt limits for B.Pharma.
CENTAC Eligibility For BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery) Course
- Qualifying Exam: Pass the 10+2 examination from a recognized board.
- Subjects: Qualify the above exam with Physics, Biology, Chemistry & English subjects individually.
- Minimum Marks: Obtain at least 50% marks (For GEN), 40% marks (For SC/ST/OPH) & 45% marks (For OBC/BCM/MBC/EBC/OPH (GEN & OBC).
- Attempts: Only one attempt limit.

CENTAC 2024 Application Form
Every year, admissions are held by the Centralised Admission Committee in Puducherry for a variety of UG and PG programs. For applicants wanting admission to engineering, pharmacy, medicine, and other fields, a state-level admissions process is set up.
The CENTAC registration process must be finished by applicants as the first stage. Basic details like a name, email address, and cellphone number are required to be filled in. Then, click the Register button to complete registration once all of your information has been input.

According to their qualifying examination results, candidates from the Union Territory of Puducherry will be given seats based on their scores and rankings.

CENTAC Merit List
For entry into the different courses, CENTAC will create distinct lists of prerequisites. The websites of the three institutions will publish the lists of requirements for selected applicants.
The names of the candidates on the CENTAC Merit List are those who have passed the examination and have been invited to enrol. Following the disclosure of the results, the CENTAC merit list will be posted on the official website.
CENTAC Cutoff
The minimal marks that a candidate must obtain to be qualified for admission to several courses are referred to as the cutoff. The cut-off scores vary depending on the college or university. Candidates can review the institute-specific cut-off scores and apply if they achieve them.
Candidates must note that the cut-off scores also rely on the candidates' grades, the course they were enrolled in and the availability of seats in a particular course in which a candidate wants to enrol. It is based on how well the candidates performed on the qualifying exam.
CENTAC Counseling Procedure
The counselling procedure will be accessible online. The candidates will be required to select their preferred colleges and courses during the counselling procedure.
According to the applicant's placement on the CENTAC merit list, seats will be assigned to them. During counselling, document verification will also happen. To participate in the counselling process, candidates must report with their original papers.
