NCHMCT JEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are advised to go through the eligibility criteria before applying for the examination. As per the notification released by NTA, the NCHMCT JEE 2026 eligibility criteria are given below:
Educational Qualifications: Candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent exam with English (core/ elective/ functional) as one of the subjects from a recognized board.
Candidates appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examinations are also eligible to apply for the exam. However, they are required to submit proof of having passed the qualifying examination during counselling or at the time of admission or latest by August 30, 2026.
The Authorities consider the following list of examination as equivalent to 10+2:
10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary Education of any State/ Central Board
Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination from a recognized Board/ University
General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/ Cambridge/ Sri Lanka) at Advanced (A) level
High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University
Any Public School / Board / University Examination in India or in a foreign country recognized by the Council of Boards of School Education or Association of Indian Universities
Senior Secondary School Exam conducted by National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) and State Board of Open Schooling with at least five subjects including English as one of the subjects.
HSC Vocational Examination approved by NCVT and SCVT of concerned state/ UT
Age: There is no restriction on the age limit for appearing in the NCHMCT JEE examinations as per the new education policy. Candidates of any age who fulfils the other eligibility requirement can apply for the exam.
Physical Fitness: The candidate must be medically fit and should have a valid physical fitness certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner.
NCHMCT JEE Application Form 2026
The NCHMCT JEE 2026 registration window closed on April 7, 2026. Candidates who meet the eligibility requirement can apply for the exam in online mode only. Following are the steps to fill out the NCHMCT JEE application form 2026:
Visit the official website of NCHMCT JEE.
Click on Application for NCHMCT JEE 2026 and then New Registration.
Add all the required details in the Registration form and click on submit.
Note down the system-generated application number.
Login and fill out the NCHMCT JEE application form with all the necessary details such as educational details, category, exam city, etc.
Upload scanned photograph, signature, and category certificate (if applicable) in the prescribed format.
Pay the application fee online through credit card/ debit card/ Net banking/ UPI/ Wallet.
After Fee submission, the confirmation page will be generated. Download it and take a printout of the same for future reference.

NCHMCT JEE 2026 Exam Pattern
The NCHMCT JEE 2026 is a computer-based test conducted once a year for the duration of 3 hours. Candidates can check out the detailed NCHMCT JEE exam pattern 2026 here:
The exam will be conducted online mode at allotted exam centres.
The medium of the question paper is English and Hindi only, which candidates have to choose while filling out the NCHMCT JEE 2026 application form.
The exam has one question paper with 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) for a total of 800 marks.
According to the marking scheme of NCHMCT JEE, each MCQ carries four marks. The candidate is awarded +4 marks for each correct response, and -1 for each incorrect response. There is no negative marking for un-attempted questions.

Note:
From each reserved category, 5% of seats are reserved for the PwD candidates with more than 40% disability.
According to an official notification by NTA, one seat is reserved, on a supernumerary basis, for the wards of Kashmiri Migrants and Kashmiri Pandit/ Kashmiri Hindu families residing in Kashmir Valley.
If the institute is run under State Governments, the reservation policy of the respective State Government will be applied for seat allocation.
NCHMCT JEE Admission Process 2026
The admission process for NCHMCT JEE 2026 includes the following steps:
Step 1: Fill out the NCHMCT JEE application form 2026
Eligible candidates are required to submit the application form for NCHMCT JEE 2026 before the due date. NTA online accepts applications in online mode only. The process of filling out NCHMCT JEE 2026 application form includes following steps:

Step 2: Download the Admit Card
The NTA issues admit card only to the eligible candidates. Candidates can download the NCHMCT JEE 2026 admit card from the official website of NTA. No candidates are permitted to appear for the exam without admit card. The admit card includes information such as exam center, date, time, discipline, and other instructions for the exam.
Step 3: Appear for the Examination
Read all the instructions mentioned on the admit card and appear for the computer-based test at allotted exam centers on a given time. Candidates are required to carry printed copy of NCHMCT JEE admit card 2026, one passport-size photograph, authorized Govt. photo IDs, and PwD certificate (if applicable) with them to exam centers.
Step 4: Display of Recorded Responses and Provisional Answer Key
The NTA will display the responses recorded by the candidates during the exam on the official website for two to three days prior to result. The NTA will also release the provisional answer key to provide an opportunity to the candidates to challenge the answer key. If candidate wants to challenge and NCHMCT JEE 2026 answer key, he/she must pay a non-refundable INR 200 per question as processing charges. The authorities will review the challenge and will display the final answer key.
Step 5: Result Declaration
Based on the final answer key, the NCHMCT result will be published on the official website along with their rank in the NCHMCT JEE 2026 Merit list. There is no provision for re-evaluation or rechecking of the result of NCHMCT JEE 2026. Candidates can download their scorecard by logging in to the official website of NTA.
Step 6: Counselling Process
After the declaration of the result, NCHMCT will conduct the counselling process for admission into various central govt., state govt., and private IHM institutes. The NTA provides the NCHMCT JEE 2026 scores to NHM CT to conduct the counselling process for admission to the BSc in Hospitality & Hotel Administration course.
NCHMCT JEE 2026 Result
NCHMCT JEE 2026 result will be released on the official website. The result is compiled based on the Final Answer Key announced by the authorities. The final marks obtained by the candidates is considered for the computation of the result of NCHMCT JEE 2026. There is no provision for re-evaluation or rechecking of the result of NCHMCT JEE 2026.
NCHMCT JEE 2026 Cutoff
After each round of counselling, NCHMCT releases the opening and closing ranks for all the participating institutes. Given below is the round-wise NCHMCT cutoff 2023:
NCHMCT JEE 2026 counselling will be conducted in 4 Rounds. The steps of counselling include Registration, Choice Filling & Locking, Seat Allotment, Payment of Admission Fee and document verification.
Candidates must pay the non-refundable registration fee of Rs.2000 during NCHMCT counselling registration.
Candidates can fill in their choice preference of colleges but seat allotment will be done based on merit.
Those who are allotted a seat must pay the Seat Acceptance Fee of Rs.20,000 and upload the Documents for verification. candidates failing to do so will lose the seat.
Candidates who are not satisfied with the allotted seat can exercise the option of ‘Float’ to upgrade their allotment.
