UP Board Class 12 Maths Question Papers
Maths papers combine functions, algebra, calculus, vectors, three-dimensional geometry and probability. In the current 2026-27 syllabus, Calculus carries 44 of 100 marks. That is the unit allocation, not a promise that a particular old question will appear again.
| Unit in the current Maths paper | Marks |
|---|
| Relations and Functions | 10 |
| Algebra | 15 |
| Calculus | 44 |
| Vectors and Three-dimensional Geometry | 18 |
| Linear Programming | 5 |
| Probability | 8 |
The 2026 Maths questions include a definite integral that becomes shorter after substituting pi/2 - x. The transformed integrand and the original add to 1, giving an integral of pi/4. This is a symmetry problem, not a reason to expand every expression.
In 2024 Maths set 324 EX, Q1(b) compares the slope of y squared = 4x with the line y = x + 1. Differentiation gives dy/dx = 2/y. Set it to 1 to get y = 2 and x = 1; the point is (1, 2).
UP Board Class 12 Physics Question Papers
Physics requires both the numerical answer and the relation used to obtain it. The current syllabus separates 70 theory marks and 30 practical marks; a written-paper attempt does not measure the practical component.
In 2026 Physics set 346 DX, two parallel resistors give 6/5 ohm. If the remaining resistor is 2 ohms after one is disconnected, 1/R = 5/6 - 1/2 = 1/3. The removed resistor is 3 ohms. The combined resistance being lower than either branch is a useful check.
For 2024 Physics set 346 FT Q1(c), combine E0 = cB0 with c = omega/k. The correct relation is E0 x k = B0 x omega. In the same set, enlarging a sphere around the same enclosed charge does not change its electric flux.
UP Board Class 12 Chemistry Question Papers
Chemistry papers mix calculations, reaction products, explanations and structures. Use the current ten-unit syllabus when choosing old questions. The body-centred cubic-cell question in 2023 Chemistry set 347 BZ belongs to an older Solid State topic, which is not one of the current ten units.
Molarity uses litres of solution; molality uses kilograms of solvent. In 2024 Chemistry set 347 FZ Q1(a), 5 g of NaOH is 0.125 mol. Dividing by 0.450 L gives 0.278 mol/L, not 0.125 mol/L.
For 2023 set 347 BZ Q2, 3 g of acetic acid is 0.05 mol and 80 g of benzene is 0.080 kg. Molality is 0.625 mol/kg. Its first-order half-life question uses 0.693/0.002 = 346.5 seconds. Keep these corrected calculations beside that set.
The coded 2026 Chemistry sets below let you work through separate question sequences. Keep the set code with your answer record rather than transferring one set's option letters to another.
UP Board Class 12 Biology Question Papers
The 2026 Biology paper, code 348 EM includes water pollination in Vallisneria and natural selection. These questions need different answers: one asks for the pollinating agent, the other for an evolutionary idea.
In the 2024 Biology set 348 GH, one question asks how many meiotic divisions produce 108 microspores. Each mother cell produces four microspores, so 108/4 gives 27. Show that relationship instead of treating 108 as the number of divisions.
For the current examination, Biology also has a 70-mark theory and 30-mark practical split. Use paper practice for written answers, diagrams and calculations; retain the practical preparation required by your school.
UP Board Class 12 English Question Papers
The current English paper allocates 15 marks to Reading, 20 to Writing, 25 to Grammar and 40 to Literature. Reading and literature need different kinds of evidence: the first comes from the supplied passage, while the second comes from the prescribed text.
The 2025 English set 316 HV has passage questions about the purposes of language. A question about a philosopher asks how language helps clarify an idea; it should not receive the answer to a separate example about expressing pain.
The writing syllabus includes a roughly 150-word article and a letter, worth 10 marks each. Match the format and purpose before expanding an answer. The 2024 English sets provide further passage and writing practice.
Hindi and General Hindi Question Papers
Hindi and General Hindi are separate subjects. The 2026 Hindi paper 301 BA includes literary-form and author questions: Dhruvaswamini is a play, while Tyagpatra is a novel by Jainendra Kumar.
The 2025 General Hindi set 302 HH has its own prose and literary-history questions. Check 301 for Hindi and 302 for General Hindi when choosing these sets. A similar language name does not make their answer sequences interchangeable.
Commerce Papers: Accountancy, Business Studies and Economics
The 2025 Accountancy questions include interest on a partner's drawings and superprofit. Interest on drawings is income for the firm. Superprofit = average profit - normal profit; use the surplus, not average profit alone.
The 2026 Business Studies questions distinguish scientific management from principles of management. F.W. Taylor and Henri Fayol are associated with different approaches. Identify the activity in a case before naming a function such as staffing, directing or controlling.
In 2025 Economics set 329 JF, negative marginal utility means total utility decreases. It does not mean total utility must itself be negative. The paper also uses total variable cost = average variable cost x quantity.
Humanities Question Papers
History questions may connect an event with a place, a text with a language or an inscription with a script. The 2026 History paper 321 TI includes Jain history and excavation at Hastinapur. Keep the requested person or period with the answer.
The 2025 Civics set 323 IQ asks about ASEAN membership at its formation in 1967. A current membership list would answer a different question. In Geography set 322 IK, population density means people per unit area, not total population.
The 2026 Sociology memory-based questions include liberalisation, Panchayati Raj, prejudice and social class. Definitions need the concept; an impact question needs the social changes caused by it.
For 2023 Psychology Q1, the second stage of memory is retention or storage, between encoding and retrieval. The 2023 Logic paper instead asks about valid reasoning, propositions and inference. Keep these distinct subjects in separate answer records.
Computer, Sanskrit and Other Subject Papers
The Computer Science memory-based questions cover programming languages, operating systems, Java and databases. A primary key identifies a database row; an SQL command performs an operation. The two terms answer different questions.
The 2025 Sanskrit set 303 HQ includes passage identification and translation. The Education set 327 KO asks about historical institutions and education policy, while Home Science set 328 KP includes work and entrepreneurship.
In the 2025 Drawing paper, 6B is the darkest of the listed pencil grades under comparable pressure. Treat this materials question separately from the question about patronage of the Kangra painting tradition.
Choosing a Year and Matching the Current Syllabus
Start with the 2026 papers for recent sets and question collections. The 2025 papers, 2024 papers and 2023 papers provide additional subject and set choices. The panels below select useful starting papers; each year link opens its wider collection.
A previous-year paper is tied to its exam year. A model paper is a practice format, while memory-based questions are recalled questions. Match older topics with the current UP Board Class 12 syllabus before using a paper as a timed test.
Follow internal-choice instructions when scoring an attempt. Solving both alternatives can be useful for revision, but adding both marks inflates the paper total. Keep unanswered questions separate from questions answered with the wrong method.
