The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has declared the WBJEE 2025 round 1 seat allotment result today, September 3, 2025. Candidates can check their WBJEE counselling 2025 allotment status by logging in at the official website – wbjeeb.nic.in – using their WBJEE roll number and password. Students who have been allotted seats must report to their respective colleges for admission by September 7, 2025 to confirm their seats.

  • Candidates have only 4 days (Sept 3–7, 2025) to confirm their admission at the allotted college, making timely action crucial.

  • The allotment is based on rank, preferences, and seat availability, so candidates with higher ranks who locked strategic choices are more likely to secure top institutes.

  • The seat matrix released on Aug 27, 2025 gave applicants transparency about available seats, helping them make informed preference selections during registration.

  • Many students may still wait for upgradation in subsequent rounds, which means some seats allotted in Round 1 could get vacated later.

Earlier, WBJEEB had released the seat matrix on August 27, 2025, providing detailed information about the college-wise seats, categories, and courses available. The counselling registration, fee payment, and choice filling window was open from August 28 to September 1, 2025, during which candidates were required to lock their preferences.

The WBJEE counselling 2025 is being held in three rounds – Allotment, Upgradation, and Mop-up (if seats remain vacant). Seat allotment in each round is based on the candidate’s WBJEE 2025 rank or JEE Main rank, preferences filled, and seat availability.

WBJEE counselling 2025 round 1 seat allotment out

WBJEEB conducts WBJEE counselling in two phases for admissions to B.Tech, B.Pharm and B.Arch courses across the institutes in the state. During each round of counselling, WBJEE cut off is released in the form of opening and closing ranks (OR-CR). To participate in the counselling, you have to register, pay WBJEE counselling fees and fill your preference of course and college. WBJEEB allows you to modify your preferences as well.

Only those who have qualified WBJEE, JEE Main with a valid rank will be eligible to participate in the counselling process. Final seat allotment in WBJEE 2025 will be done based on your ranking, seat availability and preference of course and college. Check WBJEE college predictor
