- Students in this program learn the fundamentals of technology as well as extensive information on the design and development of passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and, if desired, motorcycles and off-highway vehicles. This includes technical vehicle design in accordance with manufacturing, legal, and market requirements. All of the major areas of a vehicle, including the chassis, body, drivetrain, safety, and driver assistance systems, are covered in the course modules. Graduates will be skilled in pertinent technological fields such as energy efficiency, durability, acoustics, mechatronics, structural fatigue, and vehicle dynamics.
- The curriculum offers in-depth understanding of industrial design methodologies and research areas concerning actual vehicle requirements, market trends, and regulatory limitations.
