India has been the fourth-highest research output during the period globally.

SVKM’s NMIMS University has significantly contributed with 8,123 research publications wherein 5,245 of these are indexed in Scopus/Web of Science. The highest impact factor stands at 63 for the University's research publication. Moreover, NMIMS has garnered 41,200 citations and holds an H-Index of 72 in Scopus. The University has secured research projects worth INR 2,000 lakhs and granted 65 patents. SVKM’s NMIMS University has launched Phase 2 of admissions for its PhD programmes across nine diverse streams, with an attractive annual scholarship of INR 2 lakhs and fellowships for full-time students. Renowned for its robust research ecosystem and significant contributions to innovation, NMIMS invites aspiring researchers to join its interdisciplinary PhD programme, offering extensive coursework and state-of-the-art facilities. Moreover, students enrolled in full-time PhD will be provided fellowships as per UGC guidelines.
