Notably, the highest annual salary offered to an NU student has reached an impressive Rs. 44.27 LPA, with an average annual salary of Rs. 11.76 LPA for the top 25% of students.

Prof. Gopalan's illustrious career also includes solving a crystallography problem that had remained unsolved for over two centuries. This notable work is highly cited in chemical science literature.
