NIIT University Courses and Fees

NIIT University runs engineering, management, postgraduate diploma, and research programmes with industry-linked coursework. The amounts below are the total fees for the complete programme duration.

Students can personalise 31% of the B.Tech curriculum through elective tracks connected with partners such as Infosys, Coforge Ltd, and Axis Bank. The iMBA combines BBA and MBA study within five years. NIIT University also offers specialised M.Tech programmes in GIS and Educational Technology, which are among the limited options of this kind at private universities in Rajasthan.

NIIT University Admission Process

Admission is based on merit and gives considerable weight to entrance test performance. The full sequence of application, testing, and interview generally takes 4 to 6 weeks from the initial application.

1. Complete the university application for the chosen programme.
2. Submit a score from the accepted entrance examination or take NUAT, as applicable.
3. Attend the selection stage required for the course, such as university counselling, a group activity, or a personal interview.
4. PhD applicants must also submit a research proposal and appear before an expert panel.

The entrance tests used for each programme family are listed below.

B.Tech Admission

For most B.Tech specialisations, applicants need at least 60% in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The Biotechnology programme accepts either PCB or PCM with the same minimum percentage. Selection considers the JEE Main, CUET UG, or NUAT score and is followed by a University Counselling Session.

Industry Practice Units form part of the B.Tech structure. Through these units, students complete industry-sponsored projects within the curriculum, and participation is required for graduation.

BBA and Integrated MBA Admission

A minimum of 60% in 10+2 from any stream is required for both BBA and iMBA. Applicants are selected using CUET UG or NUAT, followed by a group activity and personal interview.

• BBA options: Standard BBA, BBA in Artificial Intelligence, and BBA in Business Analytics
• iMBA structure: A 5-year BBA and MBA pathway that students enter after 10+2

MBA and PG Diploma Admission

MBA applicants must hold a graduation degree with at least 60% and have a valid CAT, MAT, CUET PG, or NUAT score.

• PGDTRM in Technology Risk Management requires an Engineering or Science graduation degree with at least 60%.
• PGDBF in Banking and Finance accepts graduates from any discipline with at least 60% and is linked with an industry partnership.

M.Tech Admission

The M.Tech options are Cyber Security, Educational Technology, and GIS. Applicants need a B.Tech or equivalent qualification with 60%. Selection accepts performance in GATE, CUET PG, or NUAT.

PhD Admission

NIIT University offers PhD study across eight disciplines to applicants with a postgraduate degree and at least 60%. The selection process includes a doctoral NUAT, submission of a research proposal, and an interview with an expert panel. PhD scholars can use computing facilities and take part in industry-mentored research projects.

NIIT University Placements

Among eligible students who selected placement support, NIIT University reports a 100% placement record. Since its establishment, the university has worked with 833+ industry partners, and its highest recorded CTC is INR 19.02 LPA. The smaller student batches allow the placement cell to provide greater placement support per student.

CSE, Cyber Security, and AI graduates mainly enter technology, information security, and data engineering companies. BBA students find work in banking, operations, and analytics through the university's industry partnership model. PGDTRM is jointly designed with technology firms from the financial sector and prepares graduates for technology audit and risk management work in BFSI.

Confirmed recruiters include IBM and Concentrix. Infosys, Coforge Ltd, and Axis Bank are curriculum-linked industry partners that also recruit graduating students. As the campus is on NH-48 within the Delhi NCR-Jaipur technology corridor, students can reach Delhi NCR employers for internships and final placements.

NIIT University Rankings

NIIT University holds the highest NAAC accreditation grade, A++, and appeared in the University category of the NIRF rankings for 2024.

The NAAC A++ grade is a major quality credential of the university. Its NIRF position was awarded within a field of more than 1,000 Indian universities. NIIT University has a small cohort of fewer than 200 undergraduate students per year, making its NIRF percentile performance comparatively strong for an institution of this size.

NIIT University Scholarships

The NU Scholar Search Programme is NIIT University's main financial-aid scheme. High-performing students can receive a tuition waiver of up to 100%. Depending on the scholarship band, eligible students may also receive up to INR 2 Lakhs per year as a waiver against university tuition fees.

The NU Scholar Search award can be renewed on merit. Students retain the waiver in later years when they meet the required academic standard. Applications for central schemes such as NSP and PM-USP must be submitted separately through the National Scholarship Portal before the annual deadline.

NIIT University Campus and Infrastructure

NIIT University's 100-acre residential campus is located among the Aravali hills at Neemrana in Alwar, Rajasthan. It stands on NH-48, the Delhi-Jaipur National Highway, and was designed as a sustainable university campus.

Academic facilities include dedicated laboratories for the B.Tech tracks, along with separate Cyber Security, GIS, and biotechnology research facilities. Students also have access to an innovation centre, a digital library, and computing systems that support the AI and data science programmes.

Both male and female students can stay in hostels within the campus. Annual accommodation charges for boys range from INR 1,07,100 to INR 2,77,300, while charges for girls range from INR 1,17,400 to INR 2,21,300, depending on the selected room. Most students live and study on campus under its residential and community-based learning model.

NIIT University vs BML Munjal University vs Manipal University Jaipur

NIIT University Neemrana, BML Munjal University in Gurugram, and Manipal University Jaipur are private universities commonly considered by engineering students in the Delhi NCR-Rajasthan region. Each accepts JEE Main for B.Tech admission and is situated on or close to the Delhi-Jaipur highway.

Of these three institutions, NIIT University has the highest NAAC grade at A++ and uses an industry-embedded curriculum through its Industry Practice Unit model. BML Munjal University is located in Gurugram, giving students direct access to the large concentration of corporate and technology employers in north India. Manipal University Jaipur has a broader range of disciplines for students considering engineering together with management or medical study. NIIT University differs through its smaller learning environment, industry-linked projects, and residential Aravali campus.
