Thapar University released the Fee Refund Policy for the 2026-27 academic session on June 18, 2026. The institute follows the refund guidelines linked with the academic calendar issued by AICTE. The policy covers academic fees as well as hostel and mess fees, and the refund depends on when a student withdraws admission or vacates the hostel.

Students withdrawing admission on or before July 20, 2026 can get a full academic fee refund after a deduction of INR 1,000. No academic fee is refunded after July 20, 2026.
