Expensive college with mediocre placements

What I Liked

College infrastructure and college life is good.
There are some very knowledgeable faculties.

What I didn’t like

It is a expensive college. But scholarships are available.
Placement percentage need to be improve. College intake is too much.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is regularly revised. Faculties are just like any other college. End sem exams are harsh. In a semester you will have 2 quizzes and 1 mid semester and 1 end semester examination. Relative grading is now available.

Insights of BIT MESRA

What I Liked

The campus and its surrounding is very appealing.

What I didn’t like

The library and its infrastructure must need to be improved.

Course Curriculum Overview:

BIT MESRA in the first year everyone has to study same subject irrespective of branches. From the second year onwards you would be studying the subject of you own stream. The difficulty level of paper is pretty good as paper are conceptual based so students have to use their concepts to attempt the paper and they can score good marks. The teaching style of faculty is good they make us to understand the topic easily.

the green lush of jharkhand , bit mesra

What I Liked

the college campus itself is very welcoming, the lush green beauty with perfect weather
the environment and friends here makes life fun and interesting during the stay of 4 years

What I didn’t like

disliking mess food is at the top, but the food is nutitious and should be preferred by the students
remote location , very less or minimal contact with outside wrold,

the coures structure is well thought and organised , so we can learn each and every thing from the basics and build our own foundation. the course also offers different courses to take and learn what is not in your own. all the prof. are phd holders with teaching expreriences from prestigious and renowned institues and universitities.the sem here is of 3-4 months , during this time 4 exams will be conducted ,2 quizes , 1 mid sem and an end sem

What I Liked

The campus is really good with greenery everywhere
The senior- junior interaction is really good and seniors are really cooperative

What I didn’t like

fees are too high so it is difficult for middle class to afford it.
attendance policy is too harsh and in timing of girls is strict.

Course Curriculum Overview:

well in the first year everyone has to study the same subject irrespective of the branches. from the second year onwards you would be studying the subject of your own course. i don't know much because I'm in my first year but i can tell you one thing that engineering is indeed hard and you would really have to be ready to put all nighters before exams. the difficulty level of paper is pretty good as papers are conceptual based so students have to use their concepts to attempt the paper and they can score good marks. The teaching style of faculty is good they make us to understand the topic easily.

BIT THROUGH MY EYES

What I Liked

The placement opportunity is good as the average package is 18 lacs for CSE and 10 lakh for other branches. Many top companies visit here like Microsoft , amazon , google etc .
Faculties are very supportive and interactive .
College has many things to do along with superb academics like many fest , refreshing DJ nights etc.

What I didn’t like

Fees is on higher side which a big drawback to college as this is a GFTI .
Entry time for girls is also very soon and rules are very strict for girls .
attendance is mandatory i.e. more than 75% .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Btech Chemical engineering here . Faculties here are very very supportive and educated as they are phD holders and have research experience of 8-10 years . Professors teaching is quite good and use PPT and blackboard to teach . Difficulty of exams are not very much but questions are conceptual , Exams here include mid semester and end semester in between them there are quizes .

beauty of bit mesra

What I Liked

campus is very large and beautiful and spread over 780 acres
professors are experienced and good in nature.

What I didn’t like

hostels are very small and we have to share with your roommate
The attendance policy is very strict and fees is very high in BIT MESRA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Faculties are experienced and are good in nature .Faculties are easily reachable through WhatsApp. Faculties of mechanical department are very good and i like them .there are four exam in my college whir are quiz1 of 10 marks ,mid semester exam of 25 marks ,quiz 2 of 10 marks and end semester exam of 50 marks. Courses re relevant towards the job requirement of today. The difficulty level of paper is quite good as paper consist of conceptual based questions.

What I Liked

the campus is full of greenery and campus is spread over 780 acres.
teaching is next level as i don't think there can be better than this.

What I didn’t like

hostel food sometime is pathetic and also we are not allowed to order food from outside after 10 pm.
the fees is also high on side and that's a small drawback too.

all faculty members work very hard to make topics clear to us .the exams are held in the form 2 quiz, 10 marks each , mid semester of 25 marks and final end semester for 50 marks .the rest of marks under 100 is under professors to give over students evaluation .professors are PhD holders and post graduates .their teaching style is excellent .the difficulty level of paper is quite good as it is conceptual based.

BEAUTY OF BIT

What I Liked

lush green campus and many activities along with good academics
faculty interaction is very nice and excellent placement.

What I didn’t like

Attendance policy is mandatory which should be more than 75% in each subject.
Fees is quite high which is might not be affordable by lower middle class families.

Course curriculum and academics is quite strong . Professors have a minimum of 10 years of post phD experience and a research background qualified from top colleges . Here , In a semester 2 major exams are there i.e. Mid sem and End sem and in between quizes are conducted . Level of paper is very good as students are rankers of this country.

What I Liked

course curriculum is quite updated .the professors are PhD holders and are post graduates from best institutes. Their teaching style is fabulous .you will be fall in love with their teaching. There are two main exam that is one mid semester exam and one is end semester exam and two quizzes between these two exams. The difficulty level of exam paper is quite good. Students can score marks if their concepts are clear as exam are conceptual based.

BIT through freshers eye.

What I Liked

the college is spread over 780 acres with a lush green campus.
the club culture in a campus is quite good.

What I didn’t like

there are lot of restrictions like the entry time of girls in night.
the attendance policy is very strict and irritant at times.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum right now is good .there are 4 exams scheduled in a one semester. two quizzes carrying 20 percent of the marks ,a mid semester with 25 percent and an end semester carries 50 percent of the weightage and the rest 5 per cent is based on students performance which is given by the professors. The difficulty level of exam is good. the professors are well educated and their teaching style is good.
