I cleared JEE Mains to entrr this college. College have a nice 750 acre campus and really old history. The placement scenerio is not the best compared to other colleges like NIT Jamshedpur. Admission is done through Jossa counseling. Lateral entry is also there.

Bit mesra is situated at the very peaceful and eco friendly environment. The manuscript is surrounded by various villages and the campus have no such boundary like wall or anything this somewhat a negative side of this. Otherwise if we see the villages files are something which you can access whenever you feel like that's a positive side.

the admission process took half a day while processing. the hostels are alloted on the admission day only. the id cards are also distributed the same day .all the students admitted here have taken and cracked the engineering entrance exam i.e. jee mains.the cutoff is quite decent and limited ranking students get into the college .

i got this college through Jee mains . Admission is based on Jee mains trough JOSAA/CSAB counselling. I had filled this college among my top priorities because it was in my range as i had 98 percentile in Jee mains. i had done some research on this college and i could get this college on this percentile and i think that it was not a bad choice. i would say that it lies at the level of mid tier nits so but choose mid nits above it because of its high fees.

Good aspects of college is its beautiful lush green campus of 780 acre including many fests like BITOTSAV , E-SUMMIT etc and ofcourse its excellent placement . Bad aspects is its high fees , attendance policy and in time for girls i.e. they are not allowed to leave hostel after 8 pm . Admission is through josaa and csab counselling in jee mains paper in which we need to score above 94-95%ile to just enter and above 98.5%ile to get cse .

I got this college according to my rank in Jee mains. I got b.tech in mechanical engineering in bit mesra through csab counselling. I also applied for some nits but i didn't get them due to my low rank in Jee mains .Admission process is happened through online bit portal. Admission process is vey hectic due to time consuming process. The good aspect of this college its decent placement records and the bad aspect is its high fees.

i applied to some of the nits both in my state and out of my state. But me and my family decided to take my further education from bit mesra as this college hold very good reputation. Admission is based on JOSAA/CSAB counselling which is based on students CGPA. at last if seats are left institute conducts spot round to fill the vacant seats.

BIT Mesra is among top colleges of India generally it is compared with top NITs and IITs . There are well qualified professors and college academics is very strong . It has a lush green campus of 780 acre and has various cultural and technical club which help students to built themselves . Bad aspect of this college is just high fees which might not be affordable by all .
