Birla Institute of Technology Mesra is inviting applications for MCA Admission 2025. Candidates can apply online through the BIT Mesra Admission Portal. Selection will be based on the Online Entrance Test and Interview conducted by BIT Mesra.

BIT Mesra MCA Eligibility

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification with at least 55% marks in aggregate.
  • A relaxation of 5% marks is provided to candidates belonging to the reserved category.
  • Candidates appearing for final examinations of their Bachelor’s Degree in 2025 can also apply.

BIT Mesra MCA Selection Process

  • The schedule for the Online Entrance Test is not yet declared.
  • The total duration of the test is 2 hours (10:00 AM-12:00 PM) to be conducted in Proctored Online Mode.
  • Candidates can check the Entrance Test syllabus for their reference.
  • The test will consists of 100 MCQs of 1 Mark each which includes:
    • Computer Fundamentals- 50 Questions
    • Mathematical, Analytical ability, Logical Reasoning and General English- 50 Questions
  • A minimum of 35 marks are required to qualify the entrance test.
  • A 100 marks Interview will be conducted for the qualified candidates.
  • Candidates requires a minimum of 40 marks to qualify the interview.
  • The final selection will be based on:
    • Entrance Test- 40% weightage
    • Interciew- 60% weightage
  • To qualify for the merit list candidates must have combined marks ≥ 38 and Rank in the top 600.
