- disliking mess food is at the top, but the food is nutitious and should be preferred by the students
- remote location , very less or minimal contact with outside wrold,
Remarks :
the admission process took half a day while processing. the hostels are alloted on the admission day only. the id cards are also distributed the same day .all the students admitted here have taken and cracked the engineering entrance exam i.e. jee mains.the cutoff is quite decent and limited ranking students get into the college .
Course Curriculum Overview :
the coures structure is well thought and organised , so we can learn each and every thing from the basics and build our own foundation. the course also offers different courses to take and learn what is not in your own. all the prof. are phd holders with teaching expreriences from prestigious and renowned institues and universitities.the sem here is of 3-4 months , during this time 4 exams will be conducted ,2 quizes , 1 mid sem and an end sem
Internships Opportunities :
i was offered many internships for data management and assistant , but non of them had any learning oppurtunities, i was once asked in drone making, repairing and survillence progam which i did for 2 months, learned how to make drones and its components, then i am planning to take internship at SAIL and branches of ISRO
Placement Experience :
all the students above the required qualification is given a chance of college placements, other than that outside placement is there which has different recruitment criterias.many students plan further studies or higher studies, many starts to persue govt. exams .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
the course is divided into 8 sem, 1st year costs 157000 + 25000 hostel fee per sem , 2nd year = 175000+20000 per sem , 3rd year = 187000 + 20000 per sem , 4th year = 190000 + 20000 per sem. there are 3 major scholarship programs, nsp - national scholarship portal, ekalyan - state scheme and gp birla scholarship . the fee is same for all the students however loans and recesion is given to the needed.
Campus Life :
campus life at bit mesra is fun and peacefull. students from all over india come here ,stay together and study together. bit has 2 major festive time , bitotsav the cultural event oraganised in the early time of the year and then there is techathon in which students demonstrate their true technical adn twisted minds
Hostel Facilities :
the infrastructure is very well managed, ecah floor has 3 washrooms which is cleaned twice daily. the hostel rooms are single occupied for boys and double occupied rooms for girls. the hostel food is pretty decent but sometimes barely edible

College give only about 30% placement and there is very few companies or hospitals which are visited to the college for the employees. You have to do it with yourself when you are go to the internship. The highest and average package as I see is about 30,000 per month and maximum to 50,000 per month And I saw that student who top is maximum getting chance for the placement which is rare .
Netaji Subhas University is best for engineering in low fee and for who is already doing job

The intern is provided for training in nearby schools in 3rd semester. It is unpaid internship basically done under the curriculum.It is compulsory for the students to complete this teacher's training to get the B.ed degree. There is no such placement opportunities You have to go off campus to get placed in any school.

Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. "Placements in my college are slowly improving but still not at the level of top engineering colleges. Some companies visit every year but the number of offers is limited. Students who have good skills and prepare on their own get opportunities easily. The eligibility for sitting in placements is usually 6.0 CGPA and no major backlogs. Recruiters like small IT companies, training firms and a few core-related companies have visited. The highest package was around 6–7 LPA and the average stays near 3 LPA depending on the branch. Around 25–35% students get placed from campus and others go for off-campus drives. Internships are mostly arranged by students themselves through online platforms. After completing my degree, I plan to prepare for off-campus jobs and also improve my technical skills to get a better job in company or in government job
Expensive college with mediocre placements

Placements are mediocre in my branch ece. Last year 60-70 percent students are placed. Average package is 13lpa approx and highest in my branch was 58lpa. Core companies like NXP come for placement. Tech companies like foipkart, meesho, visa, goldman sachs come for placement.
