The course curriculum is mostly updated according to the university syllabus and covers all important subjects semester wise. I choosed this course because I was interested in technical field and wanted practical learning. The faculties are well qualified and most of them explain topics in a simple way so we can understand easily. Some teachers are strict but helpful. Term exams are conducted on time and difficulty level is moderate, not too hard if you study regularly. Labs are also taken properly which helps in understanding concepts better. Exams become a bit tough because sometimes the syllabus is not fully known.
"Placements in my college are slowly improving but still not at the level of top engineering colleges. Some companies visit every year but the number of offers is limited. Students who have good skills and prepare on their own get opportunities easily. The eligibility for sitting in placements is usually 6.0 CGPA and no major backlogs. Recruiters like small IT companies, training firms and a few core-related companies have visited. The highest package was around 6–7 LPA and the average stays near 3 LPA depending on the branch. Around 25–35% students get placed from campus and others go for off-campus drives. Internships are mostly arranged by students themselves through online platforms. After completing my degree, I plan to prepare for off-campus jobs and also improve my technical skills to get a better job in company or in government job

Engineering College indicate a relatively low placement rate, with most students getting placed in IT companies like TCS, Infosys, and Wipro, often with an average package around 4-5 lakhs per annum; however, core branches like civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering students often need to seek IT jobs due to limited core sector placements, and the overall placement percentage is considered to be low compared to other engineering colleges.

As I know that highest placement last tear that was 4lpa. Creteria i have not nuch idea about it i dont know that becuase i am in 3rd sem and i dont get any offer about placement so I cannot provide you in brief.
Read Full ReviewI think this college is good for only completing your btech course and this college give you a better opportunity to prepare for any competitive exams like gate, general competition, civil services, etc. becouse there is no any attendence issues. If you want to be regular, that will great for you . You learn many things from there becouse taking regular class , good faculties there . Not all faculties are good and skilledfull, but some faculties are great like math , computer, physics, etc.
According to me,I think this college is good for completing your betch course with preparing for any competitive exams becouse there are no attendance issues. But if you want seriously doing your btech course and doing work hard for your branch then you will be placed in campus in any average package salary.
Read Full ReviewI chose this course because i have interest in computers and coding and also it has high potential and salary . Teachers are very good and well educated as most of the teachers have either phd , mtech or btech from the nits and iits . Exams were conducted by jharkhand university of technology and it is difficult to be honest but you can pass if u read well .
Placement is worse here literally worse. The college is run by Techno India and they are making fool of jharkhand government by providing only 5 to 10 students' placements in each department . I am in Cse department and it only provide placements to 5 to 7 students out of 180 students , literally 7 max placements even 3 to 4 students' placements out of 120 students in civil mechanical etc departments. Literally Techno india( a kolkata based education institute) making fool of students and jharkhand government . It provides placements to only 3 to 6 students literally 3 to 6 believe me out of 180 students pf cse department . And one important thing dumka engineering college does not provide any placements in on campus , he just send 4 to 10 student to their techno india main campus salt lake and out of 10 students only 3 or 4 just got selected for placements and hence no on campus placements. If someone is reading my review please complain about techno india to jharkhand government
Read Full ReviewI chose this course because cse is in high demand and i had a sort of interest in computer field from childhood only do I decided to go for this course and the faculties in my college are so helpful they will help you in study field and also in your accomodation and in placement and all .
Companies do come our college and if you have worked hard during your bachelors degree your will definately get a job companies like TCS do come to our college and ya teachers also help students in internship
Read Full ReviewSo, about scholarships, they provide scholarships for only backward castes or reservation Cota, if you belong to the general or obc category you will not provided scholarships. About faculties, they provide very skilled and good faculties no doubt of this. Course curriculum under the Jharkhand University of Technical University. not a tough syllabus it's similar to a diploma syllabus. But the asked questions level in the exam may be difficult. On the other side, you could apply for the Pragati scholarship and if you are a boy go with the Saksham scholarship. but about classes, there is a conquerable matter, not the classes always conducted by schedule by teachers.
It's a very concerning matter of placements. Their placement rate in college is not more than 50%. my college placement experience is not good. So, if private jobs after placements are your priority I am not going to suggest this college on the base of placement rate. but if you are already in a job, you could continue your B.Tech in a distance course. And if you want to prepare for an exam like GATE college teachers always guide you in this case cause they all are gate scored highly knowledgeable. So, in such a case, I recommend you this college.
