"Placements in my college are slowly improving but still not at the level of top engineering colleges. Some companies visit every year but the number of offers is limited. Students who have good skills and prepare on their own get opportunities easily. The eligibility for sitting in placements is usually 6.0 CGPA and no major backlogs. Recruiters like small IT companies, training firms and a few core-related companies have visited. The highest package was around 6–7 LPA and the average stays near 3 LPA depending on the branch. Around 25–35% students get placed from campus and others go for off-campus drives. Internships are mostly arranged by students themselves through online platforms. After completing my degree, I plan to prepare for off-campus jobs and also improve my technical skills to get a better job in company or in government job
I have not done any major internship through the college till now because the internship opportunities provided on campus are limited. Sometimes small companies and training centers offer internships for basic technical roles like trainee engineer, lab assistant or simple project support roles. Most of these internships are without stipend or very small stipend. Students mostly find internships on their own through online platforms. Some of my seniors got internships in companies related to software testing and basic mechanical projects. The tasks in these internships are usually simple like helping in documentation, observing the process, doing small practical work or making minor project reports. I am planning to do an internship in my coming semesters to get more practical experience like drdo or reliance or some psu area for internship
Read Full ReviewEngineering College indicate a relatively low placement rate, with most students getting placed in IT companies like TCS, Infosys, and Wipro, often with an average package around 4-5 lakhs per annum; however, core branches like civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering students often need to seek IT jobs due to limited core sector placements, and the overall placement percentage is considered to be low compared to other engineering colleges.

Read Full ReviewAccording to me,I think this college is good for completing your betch course with preparing for any competitive exams becouse there are no attendance issues. But if you want seriously doing your btech course and doing work hard for your branch then you will be placed in campus in any average package salary.
Yes , college give you internship opportunities with any private companies, for that you have to pay to take internship from that company, but many students are not afford these companies. So, they take internship from any government foundation after taking NOC from college.
Read Full ReviewPlacement is worse here literally worse. The college is run by Techno India and they are making fool of jharkhand government by providing only 5 to 10 students' placements in each department . I am in Cse department and it only provide placements to 5 to 7 students out of 180 students , literally 7 max placements even 3 to 4 students' placements out of 120 students in civil mechanical etc departments. Literally Techno india( a kolkata based education institute) making fool of students and jharkhand government . It provides placements to only 3 to 6 students literally 3 to 6 believe me out of 180 students pf cse department . And one important thing dumka engineering college does not provide any placements in on campus , he just send 4 to 10 student to their techno india main campus salt lake and out of 10 students only 3 or 4 just got selected for placements and hence no on campus placements. If someone is reading my review please complain about techno india to jharkhand government
Internship are very less in our college . It provide only 2 or even 1 internship during the whole 4 years of engineering. You have to find internship with your own capabilities. As i said it has 1 to 2% placements rate literally providing 3 to 6 placements from each department , how can u expect internship from this college .
Read Full ReviewCompanies do come our college and if you have worked hard during your bachelors degree your will definately get a job companies like TCS do come to our college and ya teachers also help students in internship

Read Full ReviewIt's a very concerning matter of placements. Their placement rate in college is not more than 50%. my college placement experience is not good. So, if private jobs after placements are your priority I am not going to suggest this college on the base of placement rate. but if you are already in a job, you could continue your B.Tech in a distance course. And if you want to prepare for an exam like GATE college teachers always guide you in this case cause they all are gate scored highly knowledgeable. So, in such a case, I recommend you this college.
No, the college does not provide internships, but they provide certified webinars. even I attended three webinars during my studies, which was like brushing up my all skills in electronics. Teachers are very helpful they provide this type of session frequently.
