- Infrastructure is pretty good and the faculty are also well educated but the placements are literally very very very bad.
- Other than faculty and infrastructure all the things are worse .
Dislikes
- Placements are very very very very low. Don't expect any placements . They give placements to 4 students out of 180 students in each department . Also no on campus placements they sent 10 students to techno india salt lake , out of those 10 students only 4 are getting placed.Please complain to jharkhand government and urge to make it fully government instead of ppp and handling to techno india.
- Internship are also very low only one or two internship during whole 4 years of college.
Remarks :
well educated teachers , Decent average campus , Government aided institute Very very low placements ,No internships ( only give one or two internships during whole 4 years to 10 or 15 students )
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because i have interest in computers and coding and also it has high potential and salary . Teachers are very good and well educated as most of the teachers have either phd , mtech or btech from the nits and iits . Exams were conducted by jharkhand university of technology and it is difficult to be honest but you can pass if u read well .
Internships Opportunities :
Internship are very less in our college . It provide only 2 or even 1 internship during the whole 4 years of engineering. You have to find internship with your own capabilities. As i said it has 1 to 2% placements rate literally providing 3 to 6 placements from each department , how can u expect internship from this college .
Placement Experience :
Placement is worse here literally worse. The college is run by Techno India and they are making fool of jharkhand government by providing only 5 to 10 students' placements in each department . I am in Cse department and it only provide placements to 5 to 7 students out of 180 students , literally 7 max placements even 3 to 4 students' placements out of 120 students in civil mechanical etc departments. Literally Techno india( a kolkata based education institute) making fool of students and jharkhand government . It provides placements to only 3 to 6 students literally 3 to 6 believe me out of 180 students pf cse department . And one important thing dumka engineering college does not provide any placements in on campus , he just send 4 to 10 student to their techno india main campus salt lake and out of 10 students only 3 or 4 just got selected for placements and hence no on campus placements. If someone is reading my review please complain about techno india to jharkhand government
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tuition fees - 70000 per year(payment seat)/21000 per year (free seat) Registration fees - 500 Development fees - 2000 per year Scholarship - e kalyan (state scholarship scheme for jharkhand student who belongs to obc sc st category ) E kalyan covers full tuition fees which is. 30k for free seat & around 65 to 70k for payment seats.
Campus Life :
Yeah fest do happen in our college once a year but there is not pretty much club and all . You will find only one or two clubs like ecell club and etc . Books are easily available at library for all students for free. Sports day do happen every year and overall You will find an average campus experience not that great . Don't expect any much campus experience.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel fees is 21000 per year for first year and 18000 per year for the remaining three years. Hostel rooms are decent . 3 people have to stay in a room having 3 different beds , mattress , and 3 different almirahs and 3 study tables in each rooms and thats all. Mess is available but the food quality is average and oily . Don't expect tasty food in mess you will be finding a oily and average decent meals in mess just for survival . The mess fees is presently 3000 per month but it can differ and increase in future.

Placements are the main reason people come here. For Electrical, big players like Tata Steel, JSW, and Vedanta are regulars. The average package stays around ?7–8 LPA, while the highest can go up to ?15–20 LPA for core branches. You become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. I’m planning to sit for GATE as well, as many seniors here aim for PSUs. Average University in Jamshedpur in low fee

You have to at least maintain 7CGA for sitting in placement season company like Wipro Infosys come here placement season. Average package of BBA is 4.5 lakhs. Almost 80% Student are placed through campus placement. My plan after getting degree pursuing MBA
My Dream College
Placement Experience :
College give only about 30% placement and there is very few companies or hospitals which are visited to the college for the employees. You have to do it with yourself when you are go to the internship. The highest and average package as I see is about 30,000 per month and maximum to 50,000 per month And I saw that student who top is maximum getting chance for the placement which is rare .
Netaji Subhas University is best for engineering in low fee and for who is already doing job

You have to not active backlog in any subject. 8+ cgpa perefer first then below 8+. Eternal achievers, infinite solution, paul tech like local jamshedpur it company visit for placement. 80% students placed from our university. I will look for higher education.

I don't have any specific information about placements because I am still studying, but some seniors have got jobs which tells me that everything is fine. There are some seniors who work in Tata Motors and DRDO with good payments.

The intern is provided for training in nearby schools in 3rd semester. It is unpaid internship basically done under the curriculum.It is compulsory for the students to complete this teacher's training to get the B.ed degree. There is no such placement opportunities You have to go off campus to get placed in any school.

There is no campus placement in this college, so we have to plan our own jobs or internships after completing the course. Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. Since there is no official placement, there are no recruiters, packages or offers from college. Around 0% students get placement from college itself. My plan after degree is to prepare for government jobs and also apply for some private jobs related to my field. Overall, college is good for learning, but for placements you have to work on your own

"Placements in my college are slowly improving but still not at the level of top engineering colleges. Some companies visit every year but the number of offers is limited. Students who have good skills and prepare on their own get opportunities easily. The eligibility for sitting in placements is usually 6.0 CGPA and no major backlogs. Recruiters like small IT companies, training firms and a few core-related companies have visited. The highest package was around 6–7 LPA and the average stays near 3 LPA depending on the branch. Around 25–35% students get placed from campus and others go for off-campus drives. Internships are mostly arranged by students themselves through online platforms. After completing my degree, I plan to prepare for off-campus jobs and also improve my technical skills to get a better job in company or in government job
Expensive college with mediocre placements
Placement Experience :
Placements are mediocre in my branch ece. Last year 60-70 percent students are placed. Average package is 13lpa approx and highest in my branch was 58lpa. Core companies like NXP come for placement. Tech companies like foipkart, meesho, visa, goldman sachs come for placement.
